I was tagged by Willow, my lovely sister to play this game.
I'd like to tag Bobbi, Strider, and Lavinia!
So blog buddies, if you would like to play go to your site
and list 5 songs you are embarrassed to admit that
you love and let us all have a good chuckle! :)
*****Youtube clips have been moved to bottom
of the page***********
Got to love anything Mr. Rogers sang! What a treasure he was.
ReplyDeleteI never heard John Denver's version of "Leaving On A Jet Plane" -- I remember Peter Paul and Mary singing it, but that's because I'm older than you.
This was fun Betsy! Stevie tagged me too, and I hope to get it posted by tomorrow.
Pat ~ actually, John Denver wrote this in 1967 and it was sung later on by Peter, Paul and Mary. At least that's what Wikipedia tells me! :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww...this made me cry. I love dear Mr. Rogers. He was, and still lives in our hearts, as the sweetest man!
ReplyDeleteWillow ~ that's ok...as long as the Ratly Feast didn't make you cry! :)
ReplyDeleteI did it, thanks! I love that song from Charlottes web. I love all the songs!
ReplyDeleteBobbi ~ you're a good sport! I'll look forward to listening to yours, too! :)
ReplyDeleteI loved Mr. Rogers...That brings back so many memories....T really like the James Taylor song, too!...Wasn't this fun?
ReplyDeleteRebecca~ It was fun! :)
ReplyDeleteMister Rogers, James Taylor, and John Denver... yeah, me too! Good taste, girl!
ReplyDeleteMG--thank you! That's a real compliment coming from you!...but wait... no Ratly Feast for you???
ReplyDeleteI love your songs. This was really a fun meme. I had a hard time narrowing down songs though. I always enjoyed James Taylor and John Denver was so talented. I am enjoying your blog so much. I meant to comment about the granola. It looks so yummy. You make the best looking food. Wow. It was such a pretty mixture too.Are you from Indiana? I will be going up next week to see my family. trish :)
ReplyDeleteTrish ~ yes, it was a fun meme! I had to narrow mine down, too! Once I got going I had a hard time deciding! Yes, I was born in Indiana! But raised mostly in Illinois and Ohio.
ReplyDeleteI never knew John Denver was around that early! I have one of his albums but I really wasn't that big a fan of his. Now my son lives in Denver and I kid him by singing "Rocky Mountain High."
ReplyDeleteI did this tag today I hope you come over to see it.
