Scripture and Prayers for your Inbox

There is a wonderful autism website
called Children of Destiny that will email
you a scripture verse and a prayer for the day.
I really enjoy getting this each morning and am
amazed at how many times the words seem to be
exactly what I need at that time. I would encourage
any of you other parents to check it out and take
advantage of this free bit of encouragement!
You can also have it emailed to friends and family
that take an active interest in your child.
There is a prayer specifically written for them
to pray concerning your child.
Here's the scripture and prayer for today:
"Our present troubles are quite small and won't last very long.
Yet they produce for us an immeasurably great glory
that will last forever!" (2 Corinthians 4:17)
PARENT’S PRAYER: Dear Lord, There are times when the
troubles we face seem overwhelming and when the future
seems to hold no hope. Thank you for this reminder in
2 Corinthians 4:17 that what we are facing in this day
is quite small and won’t last very long compared
to the immeasurably great glory that will last forever.
Thank you that you have made a way for every
member of this family to tap into your everlasting glory.
Thank you that your love transcends our present
struggles and will carry us through.
And thank you, Lord, that because of Jesus we are able
to tap into that everlasting love and glory even today.
Lord, I ask that each of us in this family would experience
a touch of your glory today, and find a new sense of
perspective and hope in the immeasurable glory
to come! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  4. Hi Nanny ~ most of the pics are mine. The cherry blossoms I had in my picture file. I don't know who took it or where it originally came from. It's beautiful, though! We aren't quite to the blossom stage here in Ohio yet! Can't wait!
