Determination

“What makes the difference between wishing and
realizing our wishes? Lots of things, and it may take months
or years for a wish to come true,
but it's far more likely to happen when you care so much
about a wish that you'll do all you can to make it happen.” ~~Fred Rogers
American Television Host and Producer
1928-2003

  2. Yes, and it's fitting to use his words with Alex's picture. Alex loves Mr. Rogers still and looks for The Neighborhood on tv. :)

  5. Hi granola! I feel the same about you! :) You know, I wasn't always so balanced! We are in our 10th year of autism. I've learned the hard way that you have to nuture all areas of your life. It makes you a better quality person, even in the area of autism mom, researcher, treatment giver, etc.
And it helps that my boys are in school. I have time to regroup, listen to the quiet, (the biggest perk!) and get things done without being pulled in 3 directions at once. And let's not forget God ~ he has blessed us tremendously!
I know you would agree that this is a hard thing ~ most people cannot possibly relate ~ and we couldn't do it without Him.
