My sister gave me this recipe
about 20 year ago and it's still one
of our favorites!
Thanks, sister! :) If you recognize my cake stand/dome as being from
The Cheesecake Factory, you are right!
I drooled over them every time I was
in there and finally called them and
inquired about them. They kindly
sold me one for $20! I thought that
was a steal! Just goes to show you
that it never hurts to ask!

  2. I lost your address, so I'm answering your question here. I don't get a walmart ad often, but I always take my ads in there for other stores & they honor those sales. I also double check the prices cuz sometimes walmart is cheaper. I keep a price book of the items I use most & www.couponmom.com has a list of prices at their local walmart (Ga) I've found my walmart to be cheaper than hers.

  3. Hi Rebecca! I'm glad I saw you on mrs mordecai's site. It was a surprise to see you were a 24 fan! We'll have to cheer together this season. I see you live in Kansas City...have you been to a race at that speedway? We go up to Michigan every August. There's nothing like actually being there!

  10. LOVE the cake dome -- and I can't believe they sold it to you for $20! What a delight.

I've never seen a blueberry muffin recipe calling for buttermilk. I'll bet they're wonderful. Blueberries are on sale here this week -- I think I'll try this. Thanks.

  12. Hi Betsy,
I was wondering about the amount of flour to use, am I missing it I do not see flour other than to add alternately with buttermilk. I love the pics of the Cincy Train Museum, you should have come over for tea, we are just a hop, skip, and a jump from there. My husband works downtown, there are so many interesting things to see there. Thank you!
