Mid Century Pottery

I mostly collect green and white, but a few other colors sometimes sneak in.
And a new collection has started.....antique original water color paintings of
landscape, cottages and water.
Here's a peak at the green shelves in my studio.

  3. Your collections are so beautiful and unique. The watercolors I love (guess you know why) HaHa. And I love the Mid Century pottery is exquisite. So this came home, and didn't stay at your booth? I'm so glad you are back sharing with us your treasures. I'm always looking for pottery from Italy and Portugal. I have several really nice bowls.

    1. Right....these I've collected over the years and weren't purchases to sell. Most of them I got at auctions. I knew you would love the watercolors! That first one is 100 years old. I met the son of the lady who painted it. Made it all the more special!

  7. I wondered if your preference for green might be meaningful... here's what one site on color psychology had to say:
"A person who likes the green color will always be a lovable and nurturing individual. The positive vibe given by the color will make (her) protect anything that is alive. (She) will also have a natural state of balance, with qualities of good observer, listener and counselor in hard times. This person will be a loving parent for (her) children and have a beautiful home, surrounded by a charming garden and pets." Sounds accurate to me!

    1. The watercolors are the best! They are small...just the right size for the shelves. I would love to know the stories behind them and where they were and what the inspiration was!
