Looks like a great piece of modern technology. You will need a PhD in computer engineering to use that. Perhaps I should update my camera, a Kodak Brownie 127, with something like that!
In this country (USA) at most Kmart stores they used to have a special section that contained film of all sizes and you could leave a roll there to be developed and printed -- but it was a few years ago and I think Sears bought Kmart so I don't know if it still exists. As an alternative, there are individuals here who still develop all sizes of film and make negatives and prints.
I always forget to come here. But I am always surprised when I do. You never cease to amaze me--your enthusiasm for photography is catching like the flu. I have had several Canon Rebels and still have two with lenses of several kinds and descriptions. The cameras that came with phones were riddled with hopeless features so I steered clear but I am reading all of the new ones are as good as picture taking gets and it sounds like you have a winner with your new one. I am anxious to see some pictures when you post them. Meanwhile, enjoy the new camera.
lol. I actually don't like that feature. It isn't always convenient to hold the phone up to your eyes. But it really works. The fingerprint is easier to do, I think.
Very fun! A good color for you too! My telephoto lens broke...good for me when I can't get around much....maybe I need a new phone instead, I have an iPhone 5. Start taking pictures, Betsy!
Cool! I have the new Samsung Galaxy S8 but haven't activated it yet. Need to secure some files off my LG G4 first. Never had a Samsung before. Looking forward to it. Have fun with yours!
Look at you go All techie at your show Scanning your eye? Oh me, oh my Hopefully it is kind Doesn't make you go blind Or suck out your mind Skynet would leave all in a bind
Glad you like your new toy, but I think the newer model phones are getting scary. They record too much about us, and they're priced outrageously high (like a thousand dollars for the new iPhone X). I'll stick with my older style flip phone.
Thanks, Ed :) I'm not used to being state of the art. haha. But I'm willing to try in this case. So nice to have my email on my phone again. The sound quality is much better with phone calls, too.
How fun!!! I cannot wait to see the pictures! I read an interview with a professional photographer and he said that nowadays those good phones can really take a regular picture as well as any Nikon and company :-) have fun :-)
Have you always been an Android girl? The cameras on phones these days are amazing, aren't they? I will be curious to see how often you still use your 'real" camera.

ReplyDeleteI've only begun to figure out what all it can do. haha. It even has a stylus that pops out from inside.
DeleteKeep ahold of that Brownie...those things are so cute!
Can't get the film for it, obsolete, and there's nowhere to get them developed if I could get the film. Shame. *

ReplyDeleteThanks, Dianna. I'm sure it does much more than I'm using it for
Deleteright now. I need to figure out all the features. haha.
Very neato. What fun. I'm watching to see how good it is with pretty pics around your garden!
ReplyDeleteI'll try to post some soon. I really love the live focus...it gives
Deletea very cool 3D look. Perfect for flowers, etc.

ReplyDeleteVery smart and state of the art, Betsy.
I presume you can text pictures on this model.

Many hours of fun with it . . . :)

You'll be able to phone me and tell me you love me . . . . haha!
Delete;)
DeleteI have been looking at this same phone! I have a Samsung and it is time for my upgrade. I am the only one in my family without and iphone....
ReplyDeleteI think you deserve one! I chose this one because it had the best camera on it.
DeleteI bet you'd have lots of fun with it.
Looks like a great phone! =)
ReplyDeleteHave fun!
Thanks, Melissa! :)
