  3. Awww - I love this. We have a wren that has made a nest in a decorative bird house we have on the side of our house. Every time we walk out there, she pops out of the house, and then scolds us from the tree. We have told her we won't hurt her babies, but she doesn't trust us!

  5. I spotted a blue tit catching aphids in the white rose bush and feeding them to her chick sitting in the flower bed beneath. It was so tiny!

    1. My gardener was urgent that I spray against aphids. He thought I was mad when I told him the birds were eating them. He doesn't like taking instructions from women but I was firm.
