Oh...yummy cherries! I hear ya when it comes to the pies slowing you down...so does strawberry rhubarb cobbler. :0) Hope you saw some pretties today...and your chicken from tonight looks amazing!
You need to get yourself a cherry pitter...certainly helps with gobbling up the cherries faster. https://www.amazon.com/Amytalk-Cherrystone-Remover-Multiple-Cherries/dp/B01CFYOWE8/ref=sr_1_16?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1495648101&sr=1-16&keywords=cherry+pitter
Love cherries! I had quite a few last year but before that I hadn't had any for years. Can't have them for a while yet so will probably miss out on this season. I have a cherry pitter but rarely use it. I just chew around it, the ol' fashioned way!
Absolutely love cherries, !!
ReplyDeleteYum. Aren't they good? I never seem to bake anything with them because we snack on them too fast!
DeleteYum . . .. I like all your recent temptations . . . :)
ReplyDeleteEspecially the marmalade toast? ha.
DeleteAnd the s'mores which I was telling Sue about today. . . :)
DeleteHad she heard of them before? I had no idea they were an American thing!
DeleteNo, like me she has never heard of them, but remarked they look nice but very 'moreish' . . . lol
DeleteMoreish...haha...now that's a great British word!

ReplyDeleteHaha...no, the pits slow me down....the big seed in each one. :) Pies don't slow me down....I can gobble those up just fine! Lol....
Deletehahaha...and I just went to the eye doctor a couple of weeks ago! Can't use that one for an excuse. :) That was my chuckle for the evening! Thanks!
Deletehaha....I got a good chuckle out of that! :)
DeleteMy favourite fruit, but we don't get them til much later here.
ReplyDeleteI don't know too many people....well, maybe not any people that don't love cherries!
DeleteI love cherries, but those pits are the pits! :)
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are! I wonder why they can't create a seedless one, like grapes!
DeleteHi Betsy - those look like the cherries I love - delicious ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteThe were super sweet. Yum!
DeleteMy MOST favorite fruit!!! :) blessings and hugs ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteAre they? Yum...Hope you're enjoying them this season!
DeleteI love the color of those cherries...wish I could find a lipstick that was a true cherry red.
ReplyDeleteOh yea....I love that color of red...almost a blue tone to it instead of the orangey! It would probably be called wine colored in the lipsticks.
DeleteSo the pits are the pits?
ReplyDeleteEat around those bits
Just the cherry on top
Sure not a flop
Eat around and then spit them out.
DeleteMight make the prim and proper pout!
I rarely eat cherries, but enjoy them when I do. The pits are just a necessary evil.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are...not so bad we don't eat the cherries, right? ha.
DeleteOh my...you and your cherries!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
So good!

DeleteCherries are my fav! I just wish the season lasted so much longer than it does! :)
ReplyDeleteMarla
It's a very short season, isn't it? Way too short! We used to have a cherry tree and I was
Deleteso sad when it died. We really should plant another one!
