I tried to grow one...years ago...and it died. I need to try again. I love the look of them. Yours is lovely.
Yes, do try again! They like to be moist and have some shade!
Pretty good for a cell phone photo!
Yeah, not too bad....just tall and skinny!
the picture...not me. hahahahaha...
Beautiful, Betsy ~ I always look forward to seeing it every year.Mine is blooming too, Mr President . . . . perhaps I should rename it Prsident Trump . . . :)
Yes, I think you should! :)
Do you know the variety name of your's? :)
No, I don't know! I should have kept the tag that came on it but I didn't.
It's very nice anyway. Like it's owner. . .:)
So beautiful, and the container is perfect for it. Love that color.
That trellis is taller than me....I think it loves where it's planted because I don't have to do anything to it until mid summer, then it needs a little water if it's dry. You could grow one on your balcony and let it drape down. It would be like Jack's bean stalk! haha.
So so beautiful, Betsy. I have tried a couple of times to grow them, but not had much luck...but haven't tried since we've been in this house. Maybe I should give it another go and see what happens. Your trellis is really pretty also...love the top of it, especially. :)
I think you should try again! This one was under $5 at Lowes a few years ago. It likes water and shade, so maybe you can find a good spot for it!
I look forward to your purple glory post each year. Beautiful!
It has a few less blooms this year but is still beautiful!
I'm jealous! Ours is no where near that. It's beautiful!
Maybe it just needs a few more weeks!
It's really pretty!
Thanks...we're enjoying it! :)
Hi Betsy - I saw a few yesterday as I travelled on the train ... we are desperate for a supply of rain, thought had a sprinkling yesterday ... love the colours at the moment - the early Spring ... beautiful mauve - cheers Hilary
Sounds like a lovely train ride! :)
So beautiful!!! blessings ~ tanna
I was at Lowes today and looked at them. So many varieties!
All bright and bloomingSure no doom and glooming
The sky is what is glooming. So cold and dooming! My toes were cold, looking blue and not gold.
How gorgeous, Betsy. At my old house I had clematis. I miss them
Well, you know how to remedy that, right? ;)
Thanks, dear. :)
