    1. Irises mean summer up here! The leaves are about 6" tall on mine right now! We're still in daffodil mode! haha. But we slept with the window open last night...a sure sign that things are warming up!

  3. Your bleeding heart is beautiful. I have day lilies blooming, but that's about it right now. Oh wait, my peach tree survived. It has baby peaches already.

    1. They are so pretty! I want a white one to put in my blue and white garden beside Garden Girl. Haven't found one in the garden centers yet. It seems they only sell the pink ones!

  6. Oh how nice...you are having a "blooming day" too. Each one is so lovely. You know you started this
cart jumping...and now it happens to me all the time. HaHa.

  8. I'm jealous! Your Bleeding Heart blooms are much fuller than mine are at this point! I was just out walking around the yard this morning checking things out. We just had a good bit of rain, so I am guessing another day of sunshine like we had this afternoon will alter that situation. It and Redbud are my two most favorite spring blooms! My Redbud is just beginning to bloom...it was my Mother's Day gift from my husband two years ago and I had him plant it where I can see it from the kitchen sink. :) All of your blooms are gorgeous, Betsy!

    1. The only sad part about all the blooms is that they don't last very long! One good windy day or rain and they fall...always too soon for me! Our golden crab apples haven't opened yet...looking forward to those!

I'm a big believer of planting things where you can enjoy them from inside! :)

  10. So pretty. We have nothing up here yet. Mind you I shouldn't say that. There may be, but I can't get out to see.
However, I bought myself some beautiful flowers before Easter and I'm enjoying them.
