  2. I guess I never realized that Monet had painted a winter scene. I think I now remember seeing some landscapes of snow but that one is very white. I visited your Etsy shop and you have some wonderful things for sail. Once I am in our newer house you may be seeing me making a few buys. I see you have one of the Currier and Ives plates, which I am not collecting, I can't start any more collections.

Just do it a nice way.
See, no reason for dismay. lol....

  5. What a beautiful painting! I didn't realize that Monet did such "white" paintings. Lovely....

I'll not complain about snow, but right now, we are dealing with freezing rain. -sigh- Now that, I do tend to complain about. >,-) But not to you!

    1. Our rain today is supposed to turn colder and into ice or snow in a day or two. I'd much rather have snow that freezing rain, though! Nobody likes freezing rain!

  6. We are forecast to have some snow tomorrow evening through Thursday. We have had such a mild winter thus far that it is rather welcome! Thank you for stopping by my blog today, Betsy...and for the "follow". The picture in my header was actually taken in the southern part of WV when we road the train at Cass WV. I'm going to pop in at your shop now. :)

  9. Beautiful painting! And you'll hear no hate speech from me. I'm not ready for warm weather, yet, but that's what we got. It was in the 70's today. I've had the doors open, that leads to the porch, all day. I sure hope we have some colder weather again soon.

    2. Oh boy, it's so tempting. But I learned my lesson last year. I did sow some onion and cabbage seeds indoors today, though. It will be awhile before they come up and will be ready to transplant outdoors. I'm so excited about it! Eeeek!!

I'll have to keep that in mind when at the auctions.

  13. You know how I feel about Winter :) It's currently 51 here and even though it was cloudy and windy earlier, it was still a nice day to be outside. I studied Monet in Art School ... what an unbelievable artist.

  18. It's beautiful. So simple and calming. I hope you will feel better soon, all of you! And I agree with you 'life is complicated' ... sigh. Full moon in 2 days, I get so affected by it and it is rarely a good feeling. Happy day anyway! :-)

    1. The boys seem so much better today. Lots of Vitamin C, fluids, and rest. It's me that is dragging around with a sore throat. haha. Oh well, better me than them.

The full moon Friday is the Snow Moon! It's not supposed to be clear enough here to see it, though. I hope it doesn't bother you too much!
