Not much to see ... lol ... yet very mystical and beautiful ... makes me think about some mediaval times almost ... I have no idea why ... just sharing the very first thought :-) ... ps: yes happy lazy mornings over here despite the rain ;-)
Great capture Betsy. It just keeps raining here....Floods, mud slides, not fun in Central California. We are safe where we are but everything is getting so saturated...
We say that too . . Yes I can imagine it . . . . no chance of going back to the land of nod. I gathered the day improved a little later there. I got a lot done on the tree bench . . . on a roll . . :)
The low chalk hills in Southeast England are called The Downs. Not a lot of trees, mainly pasture. Quite beautiful. I have a gorgeous painting that a British/Canadian friend of mine did of sheep on The Sussex Downs. So peaceful.
Looks like a Halloween post Betsy!! We are having the weirdest weather here..it is in the 70s all week. Definitely an early spring as Beauregard the Ground Hog in Atlanta predicted.
Breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteI love fog.... :)
DeleteNot much looking could come due
ReplyDeleteAs the fog covered you
Well you could look
Just not see much at your nook
Couldn't see a thing out there.
DeleteNot a house, car or a bear. haha.

ReplyDeleteI can totally see a knight on a horse coming out of that! :)
DeleteWhat state are you in? A unseasonably warm 70 degrees in central Virginia today.
ReplyDeleteI'm in Ohio. We were in the 50's today....unseasonably warm for February!
DeleteFog has always intrigued me. I don't care to drive in it, but just to view it some how soothes me. :-)
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way....it's beautiful and mysterious! Driving in it isn't fun, though!

ReplyDeleteI guess the drought is over?

ReplyDeleteMarla

ReplyDeleteBreathtaking view . . . lol . . .I'd have turned over and gone back to sleep . . . haha
I did!
DeleteWe say, "you were IN a fog" :)
DeleteWith the boys home and the cats jumping on my bed to greet me, there wasn't any going back to bed here. haha....
We say that too . .

So? That is normally the scene that greets me more or less every day now when I pull back the curtains.
ReplyDeleteOh clouds above me
Where are the birds that used to sing?
Everything's wrong
Don't lake the dreams to which I cling.
Oh Where is the Sun?
Billie Holiday - WHERE IS THE SUN?
You'd think she was British with a song like that! haha.
DeleteHaven't seen it for a while ~ is it still round? . . . lol
DeleteWhat, the song? I have no idea! You old guys should know....
