Pillow Talk

Most mornings the boys get up earlier than necessary.
I'm still asleep and the mister is usually up and on
the treadmill.  Spencer gets on his computer and blasts
music, Alex lays on the couch and gets on his iPad.
And Harry crawls into our bed!  I am usually so sound
asleep and don't even hear him come into our room.
He gets about 20 more minutes of sleep while I wake up
and drink a cup of coffee.  I guess you could say on
most days, I go to bed with one man........
and wake up with another!  hahaha.

    1. Usually a cat or two....none lately! Not sure what that's all about. They are certainly in the house now that it is so cold! Sometimes I don't even notice them sleeping at the foot of the bed...and the other times they make it hard to sleep!

  5. I wake up every morning with Dinky's head pressed against my cheek. I don't mind, but her whiskers don't half tickle!

    1. No, I'm a very sound sleeper! The Mister, on the other hand, hears every little thing and then can't go back to sleep. haha.

    1. Well, they aren't trying to be quiet. I'm just a sound sleeper. haha. I think my brain just knows to filter out all the normal household sounds and I continue to sleep.

  13. If I were Harry, I'd find a quieter place to sleep as well. Though if he were to climb into bed with me I would wake up as I am a light sleeper like The Mister.

    2. Yep, in all the years that Kai got up in the middle of the night, I always got up with him as my wife never seemed to hear his knocking on our bedroom door. Thankfully he sleeps through the night most of the time these days.

    3. Oh, back in those years I did hear the boys get up. My brain would register that as not normal and my mommy alarms would go off! We had a few years where Spencer would leave the house! haha. So glad they sleep through the night now.

  14. Sleep walking is a dreadful thing. I am not aware of me doing it but I did dream I was doing it and woke myself up still in bed but thinking I had just stopped walking into our living room. Fortunately, it was the only time I must have come close.

  15. I guess you have gottten used to the noise of the men in your house in the morning. The older I get, the lighter I sleep. It doesn't take much to wake me up anymore. Sounds to me like Harry has got it figured out...LOL an extra bit of sleep!

    1. Yes..exactly. I think I filter out the normal sounds. If there is a different sound, even if it's soft, I seem to wake up! I'm glad my brain lets me do that. haha.
