You should have seen it glowing off the snow last night! It reminded me of that Christmas poem. It does look like the world! Even the man in the moon was too cold to show his face! Lol
Hi Betsy - 'mine' was silver, high in the sky when I walked home last night ... stunning photo and the moon always gives us that extra glow ... the tides too were really high yesterday as I walked along the sea front. It's nearly the Night before Christmas .. cheers Hilary
I walk the border collie at night and I noticed the lights were on most of the time. I have had to be so bundled up that I don't alway look up to see the beautiful moon.
By the light of the silvery moon....just beautiful...but it looks like a map of the world.

ReplyDeleteA huge glow when there is snow on the ground....lit up our bedroom last night!
DeleteSuch a beautiful glow. Wish I could see it. Can't wait until I can wander outside again. But this photo makes me feel like I did! So thank you.
ReplyDeleteIt was a chilly night to be out but a beautiful one! The cold made the air so clear!
DeleteI wonder if there was a rush at the labor and delivery rooms in hospitals with that big moon throwing women into labor???
ReplyDeletelol...probably!
DeleteDid a jolly old fat guy appear
ReplyDeleteOr was it not the clear?
Didn't see any old fat guys
Deleteflying through the skies. :)
Something haunting about it, isn't there? . . . nice shot and very clear . . . :)
ReplyDeleteIs it haunting you?
DeleteBoo!
Ahhhhhh! . . . lol
DeleteMinus twelve degrees? Holy moley! I thought it was cold here tonight.
ReplyDeleteWell, just wait....it's coming your way!
DeleteAlthough, I know you don't 'believe' in wind chills.
It was 3 degrees, if that makes you feel any better! ha.
I believe in the so-called wind chill factor. Why do you think I don't?
DeleteMore than once during personal conversations you told me you didn't! :)
DeleteIt is truly gorgeous. I was watching it last night and it felt like I could just reach out and touch it. Your photo is really good.
ReplyDeleteIt sure was bright! And that light bouncing off the snow was amazing!
DeleteSo pretty! We saw it here on Tuesday night as it was coming up, huge and orange. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteMoonlight!
ReplyDeleteI got a shot too! It was gorgeous!
More snow on the way for us!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
