Your Christmas cookies every year are just so elegant. They almost look like bridal cookies. I miss making cut out cookies with the grandkids.....Why did they have to grow up??
What attention to detail! I just used up most of the day rewriting a post that disappeared when our broadband threw a wobbly. Yes, today was a day for nerdy attention to detail (see my post when it appears on Monday). Time now for exciting stuff like hair washing, cleaning the bathroom sink and collecting the rubbish. I think the ironing will have to wait till tomorrow. Meanwhile the Chef has been icing one of the Christmas cakes.
My bathroom sink needs cleaning, too....hopefully tomorrow I'll do that. haha. I want to see that Christmas cake! Oh, if only the mister could cook...or bake...or anything! haha.
Well, the cake is now iced so maybe I will add a portrait to a post in the next couple of days. Mr-s need to be educated into baking and ironing. Did his mum not train him up properly? That's unfortunate.
Hi Betsy! Finally I made it here again!!! Happy anniversary to both of you! the roses were so pretty! And these cookies!! So cute, love those little trees
Thanks, Jitka! The cookies were so fun to make! I bet you're busy with Christmas preparations, too! Are you staying home or traveling? Hope it's a wonderful time!
Love the cookies, is it your secret recipe that you gave me? I hust make some more for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteSorry "must make some more".
DeleteI can't remember which recipe I sent you! I thought they didn't turn out....something about American vs. British measuring.
