It was the perfect fall day here in Ohio!
75 degrees, nice breeze, beautiful skies!
I picked up groceries and spent the rest of the day
outside working in the yard. I planted bulbs, filled
feeders, hung a new bird house,
and repotted a few plants, all with the help of
my furry friends that crawled out from their shady
bushes to keep me company! That is, when they
weren't chasing leaves or squirrel watching!
It was so wonderful, I think I'll do it again tomorrow!
♥
What fun! I love garden days....the company of furry friends would be icing on the cake.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice day...didn't get everything done so hopefully the weather will be nice tomorrow, too!
DeleteIt was a good workout, too....I'm exhausted tonight! haha.
Sounds delightful. Love all the photos, especially the soap and ring one.
ReplyDeleteWe spent the afternoon clearing our our clogged garbage disposal....(Cheering) Of course it happened right before daughter in law and granddaughter are coming over for dinner...
Think we got it working again.
Your post is a whole lot prettier than what we have been looking at.. ugh!
Uh oh....well, at least you got it to work again! We've replaced ours a couple of times over the last 29 years!
DeleteWhat a lovely day, and you got so much done. Is that duck soap cleaning your ring? I ran errands, bought a wedding gift for another trip this weekend. Don is doing the ceremony for a gal we have known since she was born (from our former church up North)....more traveling this year than I can ever remember.
ReplyDeleteYour cat's are so beautiful and healthy!
That duck is a nail brush! :) Sounds like you had a very productive day, too!
DeleteBeautiful pictures! Looks like a perfect day for you - it was beautiful here too!
ReplyDeleteLove this....fall is the best!
DeleteHi Betsy - looks to be a perfect day ... and bulb planting is always so satisfying. The garden looks a delight especially with some furry friends around to play with, cuddle with and watch over ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteThe bulb planting will pay off...so excited I'm FINALLY getting it done after years of good intentions. haha.
DeleteSounds like the perfect day
ReplyDeleteWorking a bit as the cats relax away
Sure many helpers lending an eye
As the squirrel flies on by
Wonderful day
Deletehere at my bay.
I did find a squirrel tail all alone
which made me let out a groan.
Silly cats think they must hunt
and eat anything they want. ick.
Poor squirrel
DeleteWent the wrong way and only a tail left to twirl
Your photography is so beautiful Betsy. It always lifts my spirits.
ReplyDeleteWhy, thank you! Taking the photos lifts mine! ;)
DeleteWonderful pictures of your beautiful Ohio. Even the squirrels there are good looking.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice day.
That little miss squirrel had a bunch of babies...or she invited her extended family here! haha.
DeleteSounds like a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful day! Today is the same...but haven't gotten outside yet! haha....
DeleteGood for you!! Today not as nice...😕
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Linda :o)
It was nice here but I didn't make it outside! Got busy doing chores and never went out! Rain tomorrow....
DeleteOne night I'm going to creep up and steal your swing seat!
ReplyDeleteOnly problem... I have nowhere to put it. SO JEALOUS.
Oh yes, additional problem even in a long hot summer it gets chilly after sunset in London so not much fun sitting out. France, Switzerland yes, Ohio obviously yes, but London no. Sigh. It's whole different lifestyle.
But today we have autumn proper with a slight frost, slanting golden sunshine and crisp air. Great! While it lasts. Could rain all day tomorrow. Who knows. Only the gods of autumn and weather.
Sounds like you had a gorgeous fall day today! How interesting that you don't have lovely evenings there in London. You'd have to enjoy a swing on the rare non rainy days. haha. We're getting rain tomorrow....but we need it, so it's a good thing, I guess.
DeleteEnjoyed reading yesterday's post entitled "today", today ~ missed it yesterday so read it todaym which was yesterday's tomorrow . . lol. Love the all the shots and that sunset is glorious . . :)
ReplyDeleteWasn't that sunset pretty? Hadn't seen one from my house in a while....the houses are in the way!
DeleteWe are having the same weather here in Kentucky. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving it!
DeleteAutumn sunshine is so welcome.
ReplyDeleteIt's the best!
