We had a couple of new windows installed last week,
including this garden window in the kitchen.
I'd never seen one in person so I didn't
really know what to expect!
It's Amish made by ProVia.
I'm liking how much bigger it makes the kitchen feel!
Lots of light coming in and a nice place to
display my vintage planters. There has already
been a cat or two lounging in it.
I think they feel like it's a sun room just their size. ha.
♥
So much prettier and newer than mine.
ReplyDeleteYou will love how it makes the kitchen feel.
the vintage planters are such a wonderful touch.
Yes, I was amazed at how it made the whole room feel!
DeleteI read about your wasps...oh my! Mine opens on the sides but there are screens
so hopefully there won't be that problem!
It looks great and I love your collection of planters in it!
ReplyDeleteWell, you know I got them at the auctions...haha....many of them left for the trash!
DeleteLoving those vintage planters Betsy! The new garden window is lovely too.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Might have to put some herbs in there for the winter!
DeleteHi Betsy - what a wonderful idea ... and looks wonderful - they will all be zonked lying there ... the sun will stream in ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteThankfully they're taking turns. haha.
DeleteThat's a great idea, not sure we have those here. Yes, definitely a sun room for kitties!
ReplyDeleteIt's just their size! :)
DeleteI do love this window in front of the sink!!
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful.
Love
Yes, I do love that it is in front of the sink! We spend hours there during our
Deletelifetime, don't we?
Fascinating. As a window man I can say I have not seen a design like that.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the cats think you did it just for them . . :)
Nicely adorned with your 'goodies' . . :)
Maybe it's something you could design there! I bet you'd be selling a lot of them!
DeleteMaybe. . I'll show the lads . .:)
DeleteI'd be very interested to see an external photo of the window . . :)
Deleteok...I'll send you one by email. :)
DeleteThat is a neat design
ReplyDeleteAnd can't beat a new spot to lounge for each feline
Lay in the sun as long as they can,
Deleteblocking the view of Mr. Neighbor Man. lol.
Lovely. I really like the deep sill & shelf.
ReplyDeleteI can see my bird feeders better, too! Yay! :)
DeleteOh, I like that window!! So nice for lighting and for kitty cat lounging.
ReplyDeleteThe additional light is amazing...I wasn't expecting that!
DeleteLovely. I really like the deep sill & shelf.
ReplyDeleteI wish all my windows had deep shelves like this!
DeleteOh what a lovey addition. I love it. And with your blue antique vases...beautiful. I feel that way about our balcony....when I open the slider..I feel like we have another room....
ReplyDeleteBack from our travels, and so good to sleep in my own bed. HaHa.
I love your balcony...what a great addition to your tree house! :) I'd be out there all the time!
DeleteBTW ~ Love your new header.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that little sparrow so sweet? :)
DeleteWow, that's a great-looking window. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love it. Seriously. ;)
DeleteI predict it's going to be a favorite spot for some kitties this winter. It's very pretty and I love that you can put all sorts of plants and treasures in it.
ReplyDeleteOH yes....I want one of these for my kitchen window at the cottage!
ReplyDeleteLove the plants there....
Great choice!
Enjoy your evening...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I'd love one of these windows, they really do open your view to the outside world, almost like a mini conservatory. I can just image how the cats will enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteJo
Your window looks beautiful. Love how you have filled it. I had one in a house that I really enjoyed. Lilly cat loved it. The other cat not so much. You will really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteLove the new sun room in the kitchen! I have several of those teal McCoy vases on the right top...just love them. It all looks so peaceful, wish I had a window over my kitchen sink...any window...lol.
