Here's what we've been eating lately.....
- Rotisserie chicken with roasted green beans and mushrooms.
- Grilled sandwiches.
- Grilled salmon, sauteed veggies.
- Creamy chicken on rice.
- Grilled burgers.
- Clean out the fridge salad.
What's been on your dinner table lately?
♥
Tonight it was spare ribs, new potatoes and sugar snap peas
ReplyDeleteI have to admit we have eaten out a lot lately and now it's back down to business and staying on the weight loss regime.
Your dinners really look yummy.
Yum...that sounds really yummy! I love everything on your plate!
DeleteYum! Your meals always look like they belong on a restaurant menu!
ReplyDeleteWhen we were younger, the mister and I seriously thought about opening up a little dessert shop. We decided to build our house instead. I've still always thought about how fun that would be!
DeleteDelish! Tonight it was Italian Wedding Soup. Love it. Last night was pepperoni pesto pizza and the night before was the Thanksgiving dinner I posted on FB and IG. I have surgery next week so no eating fancy for a while!
ReplyDeleteI have never had Italian Wedding Soup! That pizza sounds good! Hope your surgery goes well and you feel good as new after your recovery! Keep me posted!
DeleteTonight was a delicious lamb kofta wrap from the bakery here. They serve it with a mix of braised cabbage, raisins, sauteed onions and a sweet mayo dressing. It will probably kill me tomorrow but it was good tonight! Also had an iced Chai latte. So tasty.
DeleteThank you for your kind thoughts... I am a wee bit anxious but just want it to be over so I can get on with... life!
Hope you have friends to check up on your while you recover!
DeleteAll of your meals look so delicious. It was leftover meatloaf with mashed potatoes tonight. My thoughts on meals are changing with the cooler weather we've been having. Cool days=hearty meals. I think it's about time for some home-made veggie soup and cornbread.
ReplyDeleteWe had meatloaf last week....yum! Yep, the comfort food is starting to sound good! I'm getting a new oven next week. I'll have to do some experimenting with it. :)
DeleteCool! I'm looking forward to seeing what comes from your oven.
DeleteHi Betsy - I've been having a change from salmon, but will revert shortly ... eating veggies now with some crispy bacon on top, or cauliflower cheese - I do love that! However dinner at yours tonight ...?! Cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteWell, veggies are always delish!
DeleteWe have a new Polish shop in town. I bought some Polish sauerkraut and Kielbasa sausage to which I added chopped bacon and onion. The resulting meal was delicious. I'll try anything nowadays.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds yummy! My Lauren loves kraut....we always have it with hotdogs for her. :)
DeletePerhaps I should invite Taylor and Lauren around for an evening of Sauerkraut, Wiener Schnitzel mit Kartoffelgratin the next time they are in the area? You, the Mister and the Boys would also be very welcome. (Well, I can dream can't I?)
DeleteChicken times two
ReplyDeleteThat works for my zoo
We eat chicken a lot
Deleteespecially when it's all we've got.
Live ones would be fun.
That cats would enjoy a ton.
Your meals are looking so healthy and yummy ♥
ReplyDeletethank you....I try to make them healthy! It
Deletejustifies the dessert coming after. lol.
Yums all round . . . fabulous.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should open a restaurant . . . :)
Thought about it once upon a time!
DeleteCan I come and stay a week at your house? Your meals are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteOf course! That would be fun! I even have a guest room now. :)
DeleteYou have some inspirational ideas for meals, these all look so delicious.
ReplyDeleteIt usually has to do with seeing what's in the fridge. ha.
DeleteYou are an amazing cook....we haven't been eating very well without my not being able to drive or shop. Yes, the Golden Arches were on the menu. We had a coupon if that makes it better,
