There are little signs of the coming season
all over the place!
Autumn is always most welcome here.
One of my favorites!
And look at that big black spider spinning her web.
Gargoyle looks like he isn't appreciative of her choice
of his mouth as a connecting point.
♥
He sure doesn't look appreciative, does he? The butterfly is pretty, though, and is sporting her fall colors.
ReplyDeleteNo, he's always complaining. haha.
DeleteWhere is Little Miss Muffet when you need her to scare that spider away! HaHa I love the little things in life you bring to us. Small smiles makes big joy. Thanks! Beautiful Fall butterfly too.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think Garden Girl would scare it away for her pet gargoyle but apparently she's oblivious to his irritation. haha.
DeleteBrave spider or foolhardy spider?
ReplyDeleteThat gargoyle looks absolutely furious and probably wishes he was not turned to stone . . lol
Love the butterfly . . .
Fall has come round very fast ~ where does the time go? . . . :)
Aww! . . . that little piccie on Instagram of you . . :)
DeleteHe's always making that face! What a bad attitude...
DeleteWasn't I a cutie? :)
DeleteStill are . . :)
Deletehaha that must taste bad
ReplyDeleteAnd up his nose at your pad
May sneeze
Creating an autumn breeze
I'm sure it makes his nose itch
Deletethat would be quite the *itch.
And it would taste bad!
just ask Templeton the Rat.
aww you know I love autumn ! For me the best season :)
ReplyDeleteLove this butterfly !!
Me, too! Can't wait!
DeleteSpeaking of spiders... This morning as I was driving to town I noticed something crossing the road in front of me, as I got closer I noticed it was a BIG hairy Tarantula!! Spiders large enough to even notice as they cross the road are not something I'm used to seeing everyday!!
ReplyDeleteWhat??? eeeek. I don't do spiders. haha.
DeleteI have a funny spider story...should write a post soon....
DeleteHe's a Grumpy Gargoyle
ReplyDeleteWith a web adorning his nose
One good sneeze and it's over
Shaken from his head to his toes!
haha...absolutely!
DeleteHi Betsy - as Suzanne says he does look grumpy ... but what a well hidden spider ... clever I'd say ... and Autumn - I hope it's gentle ... but can be a wonderful time - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteI was hoping that butterfly wouldn't get stuck in that web....eeek!
DeleteAs usual, a great photo. I wish mine turned out like that, no matter what I do 99% 0f them turn out crappy. I always have to cheat and use Photoshop to polish them up a bit. I still maintain that Garden Girl is really Aphrodite with her pet lion, and it looks like she hasn't had a wash for a while. Ha!
ReplyDeleteShe certainly could be!
DeleteAnd use photoshop if you must...I just want to see some photography!
Nice photo! Have a lovely weekend ♥

Summer ...I've visited your cute little blog but can't see where to leave a comment! Please know that I was there!
DeleteSpiders? No thanks, after what I just went through!
ReplyDeleteMen aren't supposed to be scared of spiders! ha.
DeleteI didn't say I was scared of them, silly. I just went through three or four days with a swollen, itchy arm after receiving spider bites. I've had enough of them for a bit. Ha.
DeleteOh please share your spider story. I hate spiders and hate is a very strong word. I saw a big black one crossing my living room floor the other night and promptly removed my slipper to give him a good whack. Everytime I tried he jumped up in the air. It was like that game "Whack a Mole" kids play at an arcade. My hubby got a good laugh. Yes, I eventually got him good though and he won't be scaring the bejeepers out of me anymore.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!
Eew! haha. Yes, I will have to share. You're braver than me. I don't want their guts on my shoes...and I hate the sound of them being smashed. Ick. Ick. lol....
