    1. We're still humid, too! Hopefully when the rain finally leaves, the stickiness
will leave, too! haha. Not nearly as hot today, though...

You and V looked so cute in IG today. Good day for the pool!

  2. A friend of mine, Marguerite, in Lafayette is almost flooded but mercifully it has stopped and receding ~they had 20 inches of rain in double quick time.

Hope your's is not the same system.

At the moment it is sunny here and I have been outside working all day . . . . :)

    1. Sunny? I would think the moon would be out there right now. :)

Another blogger I know lost everything in the Louisiana floods...2 cars and their entire house and business. :( We aren't anywhere near flooding....thankfully!

    4. Still cannot comment without replying to someone else's comment.... I think we are in for another sunny day here in N London but hoping for rain sometime soon. Yes, we are having a drought and the poor gardens really need a proper downpour.

    1. We're welcoming it actually....we were doing great early summer but then it got very hot and dry!
The grass is greening up again...yay!

  4. I bet your grass and flowers were happy. Are you still getting veggies from your garden? I sure hope it's been raining some at home. My part of SC has had 90's with heat indices in the 100's for weeks. We go home next week and thank goodness the temps are supposed to be in the 80's, by then. Today, in Colorado, the high was 70 and it rained this afternoon. I might miss that.

    1. Yes...still getting veggies. In fact, this is when the gardens really start producing here! August and September are the peak months for us. That really high heat ended here yesterday. Just the 80s...but still so humid! Colorado is like a different country! haha. Yeah, you will miss that!

  5. when it rains, it pours but it never seems to happen here in so cal anymore. Looking out my front window we can see a lot of smoke and the big fire burning. A good rain would sure help. We are across the valley and safe here. I have lived in CA my whole life but I think a rainy climate is calling me!

    1. Isn't that the way it always is? Too bad some of our weather can't blow west and hit California once in a while! I did hear they finally caught an arsonist that is suspected of starting quite a few fires there over the years. That certainly will help! Now if you could just get some steady rain!

    1. I don't mind the rain, although it makes for a bad hair day.
But I'd never swim in the yard if I want Mr. Neighbor Man to go away! ha.

    2. Mr. Neighbor Man would probably rather watch you swim in your kitchen sink. :)

not even from my window sill. hahaha...

    6. lol well you thrill him with the feet in the sink
Even if you don't mean to at your rink

    7. I'll bet Mr. Neighbor's tighty whiteys
Would turn him into a mighty frighty!

    8. But he couldn't see my feet in the sink.
Just my face as in my yard he did slink.
