Sweet Little Surprises

I love to have sweet little things tucked in and around
my house.  This little sea urchin is smaller than a dime and
I smile every time I water this plant and see it there!

  3. That is so cute! If I could keep a plant alive in my house, I could do something like that. :)

    1. I find it hard to believe you can't keep a plant alive. You're a nurse! hahaha... and your yard is gorgeous.

  4. Cute! I can send you lots of shells to tuck here and there. I haven't thought to do that myself. Just keep them in a big jar.

  5. Fun to see something peek through. And even though you know it's there... it's a wee "aha" every time. :-)

  8. You are wise to have things that make you smile for as you know, I am sure, we all need to smile more and make this world a happier place.

  10. That is a sweet little surprise there. My sis puts shells in her pots like that, I have a spider from halloween that hangs over the glass of a fan light. It is about 4 inches and clearly fake so nobody is terrified but it is fun when someone sees it for the first time. Loved to see your workroom pic all full of the fun stuff you are working with.

  12. I have a plant that my kindergartner brought home from his last day on my kitchen window sill. I am amazed that it survived the journey from class, to backpack, a long bus ride, and his brother rummaging through the backpack for candy. It's still in the plastic cup and survived my other son climbing on the counter and overfilling the cup. It always makes me smile;seeing that slender, but hardy green stem continuing growth.

    1. Hi Tiffany! I posts a week or so ago, about a little flower that came home to me the exact same way! I couldn't believe it made it home and it is still doing well! haha. Thanks for visiting and commenting about your sweet little plant! :)

  14. It is a fun thing. I have small smooth stones from Minnesota scattered here and there. Most of them have a painting of a lighthouse on them and some are just plain smooth rocks from the shores of Lake Superior.
