Outside or Inside

The weather has been perfect lately!  No humidity, blue sky,
sunshine, gentle breezes and cool nights.  It almost feels like fall
instead of late spring!  I've worked out in the yard for hours weeding, planting, repotting, pruning,
and watering.  So fun! I've gone to the garden center and filled a cart or two... my favorite spring
activity!  We're all stocked with  flowers and veggies.

The only trouble with working outside all the time is what happens
inside the house with all that neglect! haha.  I've done the minimum
of laundry and cooking.  I've gone to auctions and all of my
purchases are still waiting to be photographed and listed in
my shop!  Good thing it's going to turn miserably hot and rain
all next week.....because my studio is waiting for me...

Oh dear.  haha.

    1. It's been glorious, hasn't it? 40's at night (F) and I love the low humidity the most!
But it's going to end! Then my house will be clean and my shop newly stocked. haha....

  2. I can relate. All my garden work has hindered me from hanging pictures at the lake. I've got an office full....just waiting and waiting. But it feels so good to get outside and play in the garden and flower beds, doesn't it?

  5. I never would have believed that you'd allow any part of your house to stay messy for more than a few hours. ;)

  12. I know exactly what you mean. Either the garden looks great. Or the house. Mission impossible for me to manage both just by myself. I think you did great to go out when the weather is great. That's what recharges you for the rainy hot week when you will have the time to work in your studio :-) happy weekend Betsy!!

  13. I am more of an indoor girl Betsy. But that does not mean my house is pristine. If you visit Nagaland today you will find that I can fritter away time with creative pursuits.:)

  14. Uh oh, now see, I would just shut the door and go back outside! LOL! Do you like running an Etsy shop? I have good things and bad things about it, but don't know if I could do it or not. I think I would love it, if I could find the right items for it. Well, good luck with that room. I'd put it on pause until a rainy day!

    1. Well, I didn't shut the door, but I did go back outside. And yes, as I said...saving the inside work for the rain coming next week. I do like selling on etsy very much....it's been a great home business!

  15. Glad to see you're not always super tidy inside. I think you chose the best option to be outside and make the most of the good weather.
