My last one died or is dying...so sad. Some kind of mite got it and I did everything I could to kill the mite but mot the plant. I finally just cut it back to the root and replanted it. It sprouted spindly leaves and one little flower but it just looks sickly. I think it's time to admit it's a failure and when I saw this one today I could see by comparison just how awful the one at home was! hahahaha.....
Very dainty and pretty...nice! I have been nursing one myself...no flowers, but leaves look good...she will go outside, if the weather would make up its mind! Hope you had a nice day... Cheers! Linda :o)
ps...gonna look up about the forget me nots...you have me curious!
I love cyclamen. My mum gave me two small plants in wooden pot on 31st December to wish me happy new year. They're still on my balcony with lovely white flowers.
Hubby once gave me a gift basket that had a small cyclamen plant in it. I left the flower on the kitchen table, and the next day saw that the cats had eaten EVERY bloom. No more cyclamens for me!
hmm....my cats have never bothered mine...and it's by the kitchen sink where they are always sitting. Philodendron are poisonous to cats and I have one of those, too....none of them want to chew on it. Shadow did munch on a miniature rose once, though. haha.
So beautiful, so delicate. Makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteI know...I just loved that pale pink! So soft!
DeleteLinda K. posted a pale blue that had the same effect on me...sigh.....
DeleteI love jumping plants! Soft, pretty colour and they usually last such a long time. Not for me, mind you... but for others!
