My little pot of succulents got an upgrade today.
I divided them and repotted them each in their own planter.
They're waiting here on a shelf until it's warm enough to
go outside for the next few seasons.
I think I heard some happy sighs and the stretching of
legs....er, um...roots. :)
♥
They look very happy in their pretty new homes.
ReplyDeleteI'm still looking for some baby tears. No one around here has any. Sigh!
I couldn't find any either and finally ordered it on ebay!
DeleteI believe you told me that. Let me go look. Thanks!
DeleteThey sound happy in their new pots ~ it is always exciting watching them sprout and take root and grow . . . :)
ReplyDeleteThey are much happier now. They didn't like sharing that tiny home. haha.
DeleteThey can now spread their roots . . :)
Delete...and toes. lol.
Deletethey sure are sporting some classy pots!
ReplyDeleteLittle vintage ones...from the auctions...but you probably figured that. haha.
Deletewhat beautiful pictures Betsy!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gloria....that was a fun little project to get done.
DeleteNow they can spread out and grow!
I love pretty plants even though I often kill them!! I did just pot an aloe plant that a friend gave me. I hope it makes it.
ReplyDeleteThat's one in the succulent family, too! I don't have an aloe but it would be fun.
DeleteI think they're pretty!
Love your containers, they just are perfect for your succulents. I had such a lovely array of them in Sunland, but when we moved, knowing how small the balcony was, gave them all away. Now I wish I had some. Maybe some "little ones" like yours.
ReplyDeleteI love them, too! Most of them were in the auction trash that I collected over the years. They have been on a shelf in my studio and I just decided to put some plants in them...very fun! I've never had succulents before this group I got at the grocery last year. They are a nice change from the normal houseplant!
DeleteThey have some beautiful, new homes!
ReplyDeleteThey look SO much better. They were growing right out of their pot before...hardly any
Deletedirt left in it! haha.
They must be so happy in their new homes. I'm loving the green..ahh summer is on its way:)
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't even feel like spring here...damp and chilly! haha...
DeleteI love your collection of pots, Betsy. Succulents are so pretty and the blue/green pot at the back is gorgeous. Deb
ReplyDeleteI love that one, too! I hope they'll be happy in their new pots. Can't wait to put them
Deleteoutside when it warms up!
Ahh, so cute. So, did you SING to them too??
ReplyDeleteOf course! I even sang the theme to The Jeffersons....but
Deleteyou probably already figured that out. haha. :)
Love all your planters and I know your wee little plants are loving them too.
ReplyDeleteThey are perking up already! haha...
DeleteOh my...my son would love those green pots!! He has a few of his own...
ReplyDeleteThey look fantastic Betsy...and guess what??? I repotted Miss V's sunflowers today...they are looking very leggy, not sure if they will make it!
Yours look awesome...they will love it outside!
enjoy your evening...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Are these pots easy to find there? If you let me know what color he likes, I'll
Deletekeep an eye out in the auction trash! :)
Green, thank you....you gonna deliver them too? :o)
DeleteWouldn't that be fun!
DeleteI can hear them happily sighing! Love that green/cream/blue pot. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteI know...I can hear it, too! haha....poor little roots. They were so cramped!
DeleteYou have some great vintage ceramic pots too. I bet I know where you got some of them! Cool stuff............
ReplyDeleteYes, you would be right! haha...all of them, in fact, over a few years.
DeleteYour succulents look happy and you are inspiring me to plant some of mine in separate pots.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I wish I had done it sooner....some of them were suffering a little!
DeleteGood pots, we grow succulents for a living.
ReplyDeleteWell, I knew you grew something, but didn't know it was succulents! You are probably thinking how sad these look....lol.....I think I under watered them, actually....and they were very crowded. They will be happier now.
DeleteBetter to underwater
DeleteRight...I knew that but I think I took it to an extreme. haha. They're looking good today!
DeleteMore room to grow
ReplyDeleteHigh and out with roots below
Sure would get a cheery sigh
Now all they want is to see the sky
Cold and yucky outside.
DeleteWill inside abide.
I think they long for some hot sun
to warm their little buns.
lol....
Hi Betsy - lucky freshly bedded little things - roots away to you - later on I'll raise a glass! Cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteA toast to my little plants would be most appreciated...lol....and every little thing helps!
DeleteNow I've got the theme from The Jeffersons stuck in my head...
ReplyDeleteIt's a catchy song, isn't it? haha.
DeleteSuch beautiful pots... I'd be happy, too, if I were a plant.
ReplyDeleteI do like the way they all look together!
