    1. It was serene! I worked in the kitchen all day and that was my view as I stood at the island looking
into the living room....I kept thinking how soft and lovely it was!

    1. All spots are eventually taken by them
as they seek out the cozy with light, soft and dim.
      Smart kitties are they,
knowing how to be pampered at our bay!

  3. Oh, how pretty! Love that window....is it stained or leaded glass? And, your rug is so similar to mine. I have it in the dining room. It's blue and gray.

    1. The window is a little DIY I did about 15-18 years ago. It's called Gallery Glass. We usually have a blind covering but took it down recently. Sadly, that window needs to be replaced....it has been leaking during storms and the wood is rotting. Maybe a real leaded one can be an nice upgrade...lol....

    2. My mother started that habit for me as a girl and I go to the library about every two weeks to get new books. Why purchase them if you can get them at the library for free. I imagine you have very little time to sit and read Betsy! I think of you often in admiration of all that you accomplish on a daily basis.
