Seriously, make sure those blind cords are well out of the way of the cats, if they are the looped sort. My friends cat put her head through a looped one and jumped off, or slipped off, the shelf. When she was found later she had strangled herself. Now I hang my blind cords up high when not in use.
Sorry to put a damper on an otherwise funny situation Betsy, but please be careful.
Always innocent.....ALWAYS....even if caught "red handed" still INNOCENT.....this fact i have learned in my house. they know where you sleep...and they make sure that you have none if you accuse them :-)
Hi Betsy - gosh she's stunning looking ... I'd fall in love too - and a cuddle would be good! Wonderful to see her and to see your brilliant pots with gorgeous healthy plants ... cheers Hilary
Well.... the earphone cord on my iPod does do that all on its own....... We have a new cat spending lots of time in our garden. The Chef doesn't like cats (sorry) and I am allergic to their saliva (you know when they wipe their face on you in an affectionate way? I get a huge rash) so we really don't want a cat. Plus of course I am always at work and the Chef is often away. Anyhow, I wouldn't mind a cat in the garden but this black monster YOWLS at night. What with the flocks of owls whoo-oo-oo-ing all night long, and the cat yowling, oh and the people at the bottom of the garden have this yappy pom that's never been told to shut up.... I'm surprised anyone round here is getting any sleep. Ginger cats are supposed to be almost always male aren't they? I've known at least 3 shes and only 1 he.
I have often been told ginger cats should be male and tortoiseshell cats female. Supposedly they are sex linked colours. But the first ginger cat I ever met was called Mary and she always had a litter of kittens.
I hope the black cat finds what she's looking for soon. Pity no-one has had her neutered.
Such a happy looking cat . . . great photo . . . :)

ReplyDeleteNo, Marmalade is male. I named him as a kitten before I knew! haha.

A yowling cat...sounds like a female in heat! I had not heard that about gingers being male, but Marmalade would support that theory!
