And It Snowed!

We woke up to snow this morning!
Late this afternoon I was out and about,
so come take a drive with me...it
was so beautiful!

I only had my cell phone with me so the pictures
aren't perfect, but you get the idea!
It's still snowing and is supposed to snow all night!

Hey, you are driving on the wrong side of the road . . . haha

    1. Haha...well, if majority rules, you Brits are the crazy drivers. And your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car! :)

    3. Have you built a snowman to keep Garden Girl company? . . . :)

    4. Aw . . . the poor girl. She stands there all day long, smiling and seemingly happy in all weathers. But deep down she is a lonely girl and sees a few birds and cats now and then, maybe a skunk on rare occasions and of course a few squirrels. A snowman would be such good company for her but he would probably melt as soon as he saw her . . . . hahaha

  2. It looks like you got about as much as we got here. But if I had taken photos of the five lane street I spent much of my day driving on they wouldn't be half as cool as yours.

  9. Hi Betsy - snow does glitz up the landscape and take us back to black and white days. Wonderful photos - the cameras do well don't they. Looking forward to tomorrow's photos .. might be today for all I know! We might get some over the weekend - I was hoping it will/would stay away .. cheers Hilary

  10. Snowfall in the countryside always looks so beautiful. In the cites once they get the road salt down it turns into a yucky mess.

    1. Yes, after it's been around a while and driven on it gets dirty and slushy. But for now, I'm enjoying it!

  11. Real pretty! It snowed here too but my son came over for a visit so I didn't go out and take photos. Fortunately it didn't stick this time.

    1. Can only click and drive with my camera.
The phone takes too much stamina. lol...
Had to stop and click these
      so it was a breeze.
Go outside and build a snow cat
so the kitties can watch it while they sat.
      ...or sit.
      a bit.

  14. We haven't had much snow here, just a sprinkle, but we had the winds that came across the pond a few days after all that snow was dumped on New York. I really thought we were going to get it big time, but there was very little left in clouds, thank goodness!

  17. Looks beautiful. Do they do a good job of clearing the roads in your area?

    1. Yes, our county, especially, has really good road crews. But I was on a back country road and even though it has been cleared, the snow was still coming down!

  18. Gorgeous. It was unseasonably over 80 here yesterday. We haven't gotten much moisture that was promised to be brought by El Nino. I wished for a little snow. We woke this morning to a low flying flock of Canadian geese headed north though. What a sight to behold and golly are they loud! Go make a snow angel for me. You guys are lucky to live in such a beautiful place. Taria
