Famous Folks' Felines

David Bowie
1947 - 2016

I haven't added any new installations to my series
lately of famous people who love cats.
Today seemed appropriate upon learning of
David Bowie's passing yesterday.

I wonder if this was Major Tom...cat. :)

  2. I'm guessing yes, Major Tom it is. Did you notice how they both seem to have the same expression on their faces?

    1. I did notice that! Same expression! I did a post once on how often people look like their pets. Quite a funny post, actually.

  8. That is an extraordinary picture.. I didn't know much about his personal life or his love of cats. I also enjoyed something Suzanne put on fb about him.

  10. The background, his colouring, the cat's colouring, all combine in such a beautiful, vulnerable shot. Bowie was an incredible artist.

    2. Absolutely not. But it's not so overly composed that it hits you over the head.

  13. That's a great picture of David Bowie and his fur baby. I was really sad to hear about his passing this morning. There were so many of his songs that I loved, there's no way I can pick a favorite.
    RIP David!
