Over the weekend we did our annual Christmas tradition
of going to a TSO concert! The foundation that The Mister
works for sponsors the concert so we get an extra treat
of attending a VIP pre-concert reception to meet
all the TSO members. SO fun.
Of course they never disappoint.
Great music, awesome light, fire and dramatic effects.
They are all super talented.
This guy, Chris Caffery, has always been my favorite!
So, I was extra excited to bring this home!
How cool is that?
♥
what an amazing production! Wow!
ReplyDeleteYes! So fun...sensory overload, but in a good way. ha.
DeleteVery exciting! And it sounds as though you had a really fun time. Hurrah!I am at home so able to reply to your post. My computer at work won't let me. LOVE your pine cone decorations on the tree. I have some pretty little glass acorns but wish I had been able to buy more.
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of your glass acorns! I only have one tiny one....it's one of my favorite ornaments!
DeleteThere's something very special about acorns.
DeleteHi Betsy - I remember your post from the years gone by (one or two, or perhaps even three!) .. and how mesmerised you were by then - so it's a real treat for you ... so happy for you - a real extra special early Christmas prezzie ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a very fun tradition and kind of kicks off the season....
DeleteThat's a very special and wonderful treat.
ReplyDeleteTheir music is fabulous. Just a teeny bit jealous.. (:0)
They will be in California very soon...you should find out where!
DeleteLook at all the lights! It sounds like such a spectacular performance! I will have to google them :-) and what a very cool souvenir you have :-)!
ReplyDeleteI know...isn't it cool? I should turn it into a necklace.
DeleteWell that was super cool! And, I'm jealous as heck. I wanted to go see them when they were in Columbia, but it just didn't work out this time. Glad you enjoyed it and brought home a souvenir.
ReplyDeleteToo bad it didn't work out for you....maybe next year! It's usually very close to Thanksgiving when they are in the Carolinas...
DeleteHow fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly was! :)
DeleteThat does look awesome indeed
ReplyDeleteAs they go all out at your feed
Even go the pick
With out the tongue does stick
yes, a little face to make you smile
Deleteas you strum the guitar mile after mile.
Fantasmatorical!!!
ReplyDeletedid you make that word up? :)
DeleteYup . . . . the concert sounded so good it needed a new word . . :)
DeleteDid he fling the pick into the audience and you caught it?
ReplyDeleteI know... back stage passes!
COOL!!!!
psst...read the first paragraph! :)
DeleteI'd definitely have it made into a necklace... or... bracelet charm... or tree ornament! Hee hee.
ReplyDeleteLove the kaleidoscope of colours.
Yep....I think I'll do it!
DeleteThat is a cool memory of your night out! Happy for you Betsy!
ReplyDeleteVery fun, huh!
