All Is Calm, All Is Bright

We're in recup mode here....
Eating, flopping on the couch and watching Christmas movies.
I'm planning on doing more of the same tomorrow,
and the next day, and maybe a few more days after that!
I hope you all have had a nice Christmas...
and have some recup time, too!

  1. Flopping is always good! Was sick the last few days so no Christmas for Suzie but I watched movies. One of my favourites is A Christmas Story - just love that Ralphie!

I only watched bits and pieces of that one but
it was on one channel as a 24 hour marathon! lol.

    2. We do work hard! haha. I got an email advertisement to one of my favorite
clothing stores today that said, "You made Christmas happen...now reward yourself!"
And I thought, "I did make Christmas happen, several times over for a few dozen people!"
lol..... I just might have to take a peak on their website and see if there isn't
a little prize for myself on the clearance page. :)

Glad to hear you had a nice day and now another day with the rest of the kids....so fun!
We need to email and catch up soon....

    1. Here it is working just fine
      and I'm feeling very sublime!
      Slept late today
      which made me say hurray!
      Slate woke me up
      acting like a pup.
Patted my face and licked my ears, it seems
which always makes me giggle and scream.
What a weird feeling that is, you know
like wet sandpaper on the go.
I guess they are washed and exfoliated, too.
Oh, the things that go on here at my zoo!

    2. Lol ... exfoliated .... now there goes the true secret to your glowing beautiful skin ;-) haha .... I never tire of yours and Pats rhymes :-)

    3. Slate...haha...he's good for something! He wakes me up most mornings and a few times
we would have overslept if it wasn't for him...so I guess I shouldn't complain about
      a few ear washings! lol...

    4. Exfoliating and alarm clock in one?! wow ... Indeed no need to complain :-)

  5. Enjoy your nothing to do time, even though I doubt that it is nothing for you with so many man around ... talking from experience ... Haha ... and I don't have as many here :-) ... this is my first break today actually, I am working in the garden ... mowing the loan which is hard to believe really, yet the coming out narcissus are my witness that winter has skipped our part of the world this year ... while sipping my coffee I am going to check some pics from North Pole to calm myself down ... lol

    1. Oh my....it is some weird weather we are having, isn't it? Those flowers that bloomed with the snowflakes on them are still at it! It's supposed to rain again...very gray outside. Can't believe you're mowing the lawn! I wonder if winter will stay warm or if we will eventually get the snow! I would love some beautiful white stuff right about now!

  10. Flopping is good! We flopped Christmas Eve and watched Alaska the Last Frontier....an all day marathon. The kids skied that morning and wiped themselves out and I was content to sit in front of the fireplace and look at the snow and wish I was a pioneer girl.

Too much recupping makes you tired, though...I think
