If you love fall and winter like me, this sight makes you happy!
Beautiful shivery sparkles!
It melts as soon as the morning sun hits it and even though
it's 31F degrees this morning, it will reach 58F by this afternoon.
I'm linking up with Mersad and Through My Lens!

Very pretty! It is much too warm here and we are all suffering from terrible coughs and colds. Really looking forward to some frost.
ReplyDeleteUgh...that's awful! Hoping for some frost to come your way but it seems you all over there are always quite a bit warmer than we are!
DeleteYes we allegedly have a mild maritime climate whereas you, I assume, have a continental climate?
DeleteRight...and you get all that rain and lush green with your maritime!
DeleteThat's the idea. Although what we seem to have a lot of just now is wind and dark. It's been a very dark year. And not just at night.
DeleteWe have something in common. Frosty mornings.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, aren't they?
DeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Lea
Thank you, Lea...I appreciate you stopping by!
DeleteAs long as it doesn't stay
ReplyDeleteAnd no snow comes to play
Fine by me
Here at our sea
It's pretty, don't you think?
DeleteBut it leads to snow! wink, wink...
Pffft to snow
DeleteNice to look at from afar though
I know it's getting closer for frost to surprise us one morning, but so far we haven't been that cold. And we've been sooooo wet here. Raining again this morning. So for now, I'll just enjoy YOUR frosty morning pictures and wait. :)
ReplyDeleteJust think...if it was colder, all that rain would be snow!
DeleteI do! I do love fall and winter and colored leaves and frost! But woe is me, I'm in the same boat as Don. Rainy days. But we have the promise of frosty days and that'll do for now. Love your leafy close-up.
ReplyDeleteYou poor southerners are just soggy down there! My goodness! But it will end eventually, I'm sure!
DeleteWe have rain coming in tonight....but at least we saw the sun this morning!
Pretty shot, but it did make me shiver just a bit to see the frost!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had that here yet. I'm truly not looking forward to it.

Thank you Sue....I'll come see your entry...I know it will be great!
DeleteHi Betsy - the frost does make our plants and leaves look so crystally clear around their edges ... lovely shot. We're still warm ... well I say warm and it is relatively for this time of year .. in the middle to high 50s day and night - til later in the week! Cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteWe'll be in the 50's today...it's just the nights that are frosty! You kind of get the best of both worlds when it's like that! haha.
DeleteAlmost looks like a lovely, frosty dessert!
ReplyDeleteI love the way it lines the edges of the leaves like that! Beautiful!
DeleteWe haven't been frosted that much yet but I bet we will in the near future. Our west side roof sections are having frost. Great photo.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't last long on sunny days, does it? Just a little warmth and it disappears....so beautiful, though!
DeleteIt is a beautifully magical picture Betsy! I also love the frozen one with the book in your side bar. Happy day! Jitka
ReplyDeleteActually now I see that the one with the mug is not frozen but it is a rain. Yet it is still beautiful.
DeleteYes, it's rain...I love that picture...not mine, though..it's from tumblr.
DeleteLove the picture! =)
ReplyDeleteIts been chilly here in the mornings also! I like the chilly weather.
I'd rather be cold than hot any day!
DeleteI love your capture of these frost-tinged leaves. Wonderful photo!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Linda....I saw that frost out there this morning and just had to step out and take a few pictures!
DeleteNot a whiff of frost here yet, still unusually warm though it is very windy tonight. Love your photo, I have never managed to photograph frost yet. (I guess I should get up earlier!)
ReplyDeleteYou can keep the wind...haha...
Deleteok . . . I can live with that . . . provided it does not get any colder . . .
ReplyDeleteFeeling very sad today. I learned that a lovely 104 year old lady, one of our passengers at Dial-a-Ride passed away recently . . . :(
She had a very good life though . . . :)
I'm sure she wouldn't want you to be sad. So many don't even make it to half that age...glad to hear she had a good long life.
DeleteThanks and you are right of course. Perhaps I shall meet her again one day and we shall both be young again . . . :)
DeleteWell, she was 25+ years older than you here on earth...she already thought of you as young!
DeleteMost people do . . . . lol
DeleteThose are some beautiful frosty leaves!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tom...I loved the look of them, too!
DeleteHello, beautiful frosty leaves. It was cold here this morning, I had to scrape the frost off of my car window this morning. BURR!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, enjoy your new week ahead!
In Maryland, yes I can image you are frostier than we are! haha.....stay warm!
DeleteBeautiful photo! I love winter. I saw a "hoar frost" the day we drove into Colorado from Nebraska on our move west. Everything glimmered in the sun like diamonds! It was so beautiful! I am also enjoying being a part of Mersad's weekly meme, Betsy. It's like a trip around the world!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I stumbled upon his blog! I'll look for you on the link-up!
DeleteYou captured these leaves perfectly!
ReplyDeleteLove those upclose shots! :)
DeleteThat is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think so, too...just beautiful! No wonder we all love fall...
Deletethis is a beautiful image.I suppose we are going to have to get used to winter coming
ReplyDeleteYes, it's on it's way! But not for another 5 weeks or so. :)
DeleteFantastic capture! Love the frosty leaves.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I appreciate you stopping by!
DeleteI LOVE winter... and this shot makes my heart happy.
