  1. Ah the wonderful September blue. We only get it sometimes and this month has been full of amazing black clouds and heavy showers. But when we get clear skies - yes Absolutely. It's a great time of year.

    3. Marmalade marches magnificently, meowing menacingly, marring marauders, making more mice miserable, moreover mistrusting migrants . . .

  3. Nice security guard you have there. Which kitty is this? Your sky is pretty. We've had gloomy-gray-misty-rain skies all day. But I don't mind. We sure needed this rain.

  5. Clear sky is grand
    As is a safe land
    Surveying everything
As a fall day does spring

    1. I acted irritated when the tree branch smelled like an intruder.
      What could be ruder?
So he left his scent way up there
to tell all intruders to beware. hahaha....

    1. The blue is just amazing in September! I wonder what the scientific reason is
behind that fact....less humidity, the tilt of the earth...something....I love it!
It even makes the clouds seem whiter!
Marmalade glows with that sky behind him! haha....so much for sneaky patrolling!

  11. Marmalade: "Hey! You . . . . . .what are you doing there? Have you got business here? If not, then leave the property . . .NOW!"
Little bird: "But I only wanted to go to the feeder, I'm hungry".
Marmalade: "OK then, but be quick about it".

  12. Pretty shot. I bet he is great security. He looks similar to my 'grand cat'. That cat beat the heck out of my old golden retriever. If the has any genes related then your Marm is perfect for the security detail!
