He gets along very well with the cats. After all, he was here, first! haha. He'll snort if they bother him too much, but they touch noses and lay under the dining room table together. :)
Nugget needs a good brushing but wriggles away when I'm only half done! It's going to be a two man operation, I have a feeling. Maybe I can get his nails trimmed while we're at it. haha.
I didn't realize you had a bunny, Betsy. Glad they all get along. Funny story...the retired-guy's old co-worker called us once to see if we would like to adopt his bunny. When we asked why he was looking for a new home for him he said "He hides behind doors and attacks our cats when they walk by." He didn't realize we had cats.
Oh, that is hilarious! They do hold their own, that is for sure! I was afraid the cats would eat Nugget when I first started letting them come into the house. Nugget is loose inside. But they have all been great and they seem to be friends 99% of the time. He'll thump his big back foot or snort if something is bugging him. He's old, too....will be 8 next month and their life expectancy is 5-7!
He looks one Happy Bunny . . . dies he still boss the cats about? . . lol

ReplyDeleteHe usually sleeps behind the couch or under the dining room table, so this was fun to see him there. :)

DeleteYou have a bunny AND cats? They don't try and kill each other?
ReplyDeleteCan you believe that? And they get along just fine...even sleep beside each other under the dining room table. :)
