Oh my goodness! He really does, doesn't he. The way those teeth are positioned in the photo. Saw a male cardinal feed seeds to his daughter this morning. Lynne in NC
That is troubling, especially since he seemed to be starting to come round again for food, and the neutering should be curtailing his wandering. I'm beginning to think his adoption may not come to pass, but you certainly tried your hardest.
He came around more when he was sick....I guess now that he's feeling better, he's off and doing what he wants. Still, you would think he would come for food. And he looks so thin, I have a hard time believing someone else is feeding him! It makes me think he's had a history with a cage and my capture of him brought back bad memories. I know my neighbors are wondering who "Peachy" since I'm constantly outside calling for him. Sigh! I wish he had a little monitor on him so I could see where he was!
Goodness . . . give him a 'steak' quick with garlic. I wonder whether he would answer to Fang . . . Perhaps he thinks he is a 'Sabre Toothed Tiger' . . . :)
Count Dracula ..... I vant your blood......be careful Betsy...That may not just be a costume....HaHa. I worked for a boss years ago that gave so much blood he had the gallon sticker on his car. I can't remember if it was 3 or 4 gallons, but a lot. In fact, the Blood Donor office would call our office, and tell George....We vant your blood. He had the universal type, and they called a lot.
He was the best boss I ever had, but he WAS hilarious. He was a big man and not real handsome so his license plate was AKA UGLY. People would gawk and try to see the driver....HaHa..one day I borrowed his car and got a lot of looks too.
Well, this story just keeps getting better and better! LOL! He certainly had a sense of humor...love that! And you driving his car...hahaha....oh dear. So funny!
Here's hoping your Peachy is sneaking about when all is dark and quiet. Remember, if His eye is on the sparrow, then it is on our feline friends as well. Love The Shadow. He knows. :0)
that would be cool but probably not such a good idea. we keep our kitties inside here because the coyotes like to snack on them. so while the kitties are hunting they are being hunted. It is that circle of life thing that seems to hit everything but the squirrels! The neighbor kitties Chicago and Brooklyn, seem to fare pretty well outside though, so far.
We don't have coyotes but we have hawks...and the few cats we've had come to us as kittens (Jack and Cocoa) were kept inside until they were too big to be carried off in their talons.
He reminds me of that famous hymn, "All Fangs Bright and Beautiful". Or maybe "Fangs Ain't Wot They Used to be" - Max Bygraves, and "Fangs for the Memory" - Frank Sinatra.

ReplyDeleteOne of my most favorite things...watching the birds feed their young! Lucky you!
DeleteNo sign of Peach since last Tuesday....

DeleteThere's something about those eyes too....
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about lack of Peach sightings.
Yes, the squinty eyes! haha. Bright sunshine...but that and the black coat and fangs just makes him look so funny!
DeleteI love these beautiful eyes :)))
ReplyDeleteHe's a sweet cat, too! Quite the hunter, but a sweetie.
DeleteLol....I've seen fangs like that before, and it didn't have fur for a coat !
ReplyDeleteStill he's precious :)

He is a good bird hunter.....ha.
DeleteI expect he frightens them to death . . . . .ha
DeleteNo, he uses those fangs!
DeleteWas something tasty around
ReplyDeleteTrying to scare off another invading hound?
Or just wants to suck your blood
And make you fall with a thud
Looks like he has blood on his mind
Deleteas the look isn't very kind.
But really he just wanted picked up,
to be carried like a little pup.
haha in need of some attention
DeleteOr you'll end up in detention
I better give him a little love
Deleteor he'll take it out on a dove.
haha....

ReplyDeleteOh, that's hilarious! George! That's a lot of blood....funny he had the bumper sticker!

DeleteHaaaaa! Too funny. You best wear a turtleneck to bed tonight!
ReplyDeletelol....I don't have a nightie with a turtleneck! hahaha.....I best keep the covers up under my chin!
DeleteHa! Really look like a vampire:))
ReplyDeleteDoesn't he look silly? ha.
DeleteLove these teeth:))
DeleteHA! He almost had me fooled, but then I noticed it was sunny. If he was a real vampire he'd be hiding until it was dark :-)
ReplyDeleteSo true! :)
DeleteNice fangs!
ReplyDeleteThe black coat just adds to the look, don't you think?
DeleteWow - he really does! Sorry that Peaches has been awol. I think he's still made at you over the crate and the vet.
ReplyDeleteI think he is, too.....all that trust I built up is gone and we're worse than square one.
DeleteHere's hoping your Peachy is sneaking about when all is dark and quiet. Remember, if His eye is on the sparrow, then it is on our feline friends as well.
ReplyDeleteLove The Shadow. He knows.
:0)
Yes..so true! I've been praying for him, too. And I've been telling the other cats to go bring Peach home!
DeleteLOL! Do you remember that show about vampires called Dark Shadows? Well, there you go.
ReplyDeletehaha...yes...exactly! Perfect.
DeleteIf he is a great hunter we could use him before the squirrels take over here. I have my fingers crossed for Peaches to come home soon too.
ReplyDeleteNo mice and squirrels is one great benefit of having cats! Want me to ship him to you for a week? :)
Deletethat would be cool but probably not such a good idea. we keep our kitties inside here because the coyotes like to snack on them.

DeleteChicago and Brooklyn....haha...love those names!
Owls are an issue here in addition to hawks. It is a scary world for a kitty. I knew you would like those names. Cute.
DeleteMy black cat looks like Toothless from How to Train your Dragon...
ReplyDeletelol....aw...yours sound adorable!
DeleteHe reminds me of that famous hymn, "All Fangs Bright and Beautiful". Or maybe "Fangs Ain't Wot They Used to be" - Max Bygraves, and "Fangs for the Memory" - Frank Sinatra.
ReplyDeletelol....see....this is why I've missed you. :)
