Magical is the perfect word! We had dense fog last night and this morning, too. Couldn't see across the yard. I love the fog, mist and rain. It is so peaceful. I like the one little orange leaf in your photo. It is the perfect pop of color in this black and white view.
Oh! . . . :) Looks lovely though and great photo. I spent a nice morning at The Rectory garden is nice dry conditions. Going again on Saturday . . . :)
Sounds like a nice day there...it dried up and the sun is shining here. I actually cracked a window open a little while to let some fresh air in, but it was too chilly and only stayed open about 5 minutes. ha.
Well, you lasted longer than me. But it was only 50 degrees here. It was nice for a few minutes, though, I will admit! And the birds are singing like it's spring!
I awoke today to see the sunlight streaming in through the window, I leapt out of bed full of the joys of spring and flung the window wide open to listen to the dawn chorus. Then as I became more aware I realised that the "sunlight" was the street lamp outside that had failed to switch off because of the dark grey sky, and the dawn chorus was just the sound of the rain drumming on the greenhouse roof! Oh, woe, woe!

DeleteBeautiful and magical ~ better to look at it than to be in it . . . lol

ReplyDeleteIt was beautiful! Do you think spring is really on it's way or is this a tease before another snow? ha.
DeleteOh....it is!!! It looks so cool and refreshing. Love it!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I fed the birds, let's see how long it takes for them to come. I'm telling you, there's a shortage around here.
Well, keep me posted!
DeleteWhat a lovely photograph! I'm supposed to be packing to go away but I'm reading blogs and writing about crisps. I'm glad I saw this.
ReplyDeleteYum...I'll stop by and see what kind you're eating! Have a lovely trip!
DeleteThanks! The Chef has stocked up on crisps he hopes will be new to us.

ReplyDeletehaha....with the time change, it is pitch black when we need to wake up. I've been dragging the boys out of bed all week! Sigh!
DeleteReminds me of city lights.
ReplyDeleteYes, now that you mention it, I can see that!
DeleteLike jewels...love mornings like this!
ReplyDeleteIt was so pretty! The sun eventually came out and it looked like spring! :)

DeleteSo very magical. It makes me just stop and gaze at the beauty. God is such an Artist, and what a lovely way to start your morning.
ReplyDeleteHugs...
Those raindrops hanging on everything looked like little diamonds...so very neat!
DeleteOff to a new land
ReplyDeleteWhere a pot of gold will stand
There you will find it
And there will be no white umm spit
No snow to bury the gold
Deleteso I can find it before I'm too old!
Very pretty It was so foggy here this morning, that driving was hard. I was glad to pull into the parking lot at work today!
ReplyDeleteI looked to see if ours was cancelled! I couldn't see across the street!
DeleteSo very pretty! Have a good evening, Betsy.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that neat? Just a few minutes later and it was gone...I was glad to see it before daylight hit it!
DeleteMagical indeed! ;)
ReplyDeleteI know...it was so cool!
Deletewow. you got like a field of stars out your window...
ReplyDeletebeautiful....
Isn't that cool? It's like bokeh but REAL bokeh...no photo editing.
DeleteVery pretty photo, Betsy! I look forward to the first rain of Spring in our area! All we seem to have had since September is snow or hail.
ReplyDeleteIt washed all of our snow away...looks so different outside. I wonder if we won't get more snow, though. It's still very early!
DeleteDefinitely beautiful and magical. Wonderful picture. But you need to get busy pruning... Is that a new header photo too? It's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteYes some pruning is in order! I'll tell the mister. ....the header is a rerun but I love it.
DeleteBeautiful Betsy:)
ReplyDeleteThank you...I thought it was pretty!
