It's so icy cold that even the sun lost it's color as it was setting tonight!
But it hasn't been able to cool off my heart that is warmed by
all the people that joined in my RAK adventures this week!
Thanks so much to all of you that joined in!
I hope you'll be back next Friday to share again!
♥
Even an icy cold picture has it's own beauty. Your RAK was marvelous. I was so touch as I went to each post and read what they had done. Wow, there were some wonderful acts of kindness. I'm looking now for something for next week. Happy Valentines Day to you and your men.
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty, isn't it? Almost looks like a black and white! haha. Yes, the RAK was really fun. I need to put my thinking cap on for next week!
DeleteSuch a stunning photo, Betsy. Just beautiful. Supposed to go to -40C here tonight - which, coincidentally is -40F too! Yikes.
ReplyDeleteThe same for C and F? What happened...it was so cold that we all evened out? haha. Brr!
DeleteYup - at -40 they both meet. Cool, huh? Literally!
DeleteI never knew that!
DeleteLove the photo ~ absolutely superb. Gosh how cold . . . . I am shivering just thinking of it. No wonder you guys have furnaces ~ you need them. . . .
ReplyDeleteLoved all the RAKs and looking forward to next week. . . . :)
Yes, we need furnaces and air conditioners...we get both extremes! brr! We're in the negatives!
DeleteMakes me wonder sometimes how your Cherokee ancestors managed to keep warm in just a wigwam when it was cold.
DeleteThey must have been very tough ~ perhaps they clothed themselves in Buffalo hides . . . :)
Perhaps they did! Perhaps they had camp fires in their tee pees with smoke trailing out the top! ha.
DeleteIt's lost it's color but it's like a beautiful Black & White shot!
ReplyDeleteIt really does look like that! ha.
DeleteIt does look cold, doesn't it? But still, a beautiful picture. I enjoyed the RAK, also. It's nice to see genuinely kind people do their thing.
ReplyDeleteIt sure was nice to see...I'm looking forward to this week, too!
Deletewow....we got some snow finally...the whole polar vortex has sucked the heat out....it cropped from 40 to 19 in like an hour and all of a sudden snow squalls...ha
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly what we got here....it all blew sideways and never landed on the ground! And the drop in temps was amazingly fast!
DeleteWow, what a beautiful picture! Thank you for sharing with us. Have a lovely Sunday!
ReplyDeleteIt was really pretty...even if I was looking for color! Lol.....
DeleteGreat photo!! It's very cold and windy here as well! Some warmth would feel wonderful right about now! But the skies are still fun to watch no matter the temps. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, that is true. It's always beautiful!
DeleteWe have 4º this Sunday morning here in Brookville, Ohio.
ReplyDeleteWell, we beat you at 3 degrees here in Cedarville! Ha. Stay warm, Abe!...and Patty, too!
DeleteThank you for hosting, Betsy!! It was great fun to read of everyone's RAKs. Very inspiring!! Stay warm! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteTexas is probably much warmer than Ohio today! Lol.....
DeleteWell at least there was sorta sun
ReplyDeleteHere the rain, ice, snow and clouds are no fun
Plus it is nice and cold
Spring should come take hold
Icy cold is right...I'm freezing here too! I've enjoyed reading the RAK stories.
ReplyDeleteJust saw this quote and thought of you..."The best portion of a good person's life is his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and of love." ~ William Wordsworth
ReplyDeleteIt's so cold here that the snowman is begging me to take him inside.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot and I do know that it is very icy cold.
