Sweet little sparrow was really stirring up
the snow on Garden Girl's head this week!
Judging by the smile, it looks like it tickled!

Oh she just likes having her hair messed up . . . . . . rofl
ReplyDeleteGreat shot . . . . . :)
Could I be first again?
She has so much hairspray on her hair, it feels like concrete! It doesn't move no matter what the weather!
DeleteI see I was first again . . . . . lol . . . I don't think that type of hairspray will catch on somehow . . . . lol
DeleteIsn't there a joke about Margaret Thatcher's hairspray? Seems like I heard it once. Might have been something Ronald Reagan said.
DeleteNever heard that one but she was known as "The Iron Lady that's not for turning" so maybe a can of WD40.
DeleteShe and Ronald got on very well . . . I would not be surprised if Ronald had said something.
I liked that chap very much . . . a real man and personality . . . a boy could he ride a horse !!! . . . :)
Yes, he was made of iron, too.....wish we had him back!
DeleteYes, we all wish sometimes the clock could be turned back . . . :)
DeleteYeah, I wonder if we'd do things differently...
Deleteoh definitely . . . . . . I really do think so . . . . :)
DeleteHope you are enjoying your day . . . . I have been doing some Sunday laundry and doing battle with a crossword . . . . . :)
Hi Betsy,
ReplyDeleteI often look at your blog, but mostly don't have the time to write a note.
Could you add one of the buttons at the bottom of your post....the ones that say cool, interesting, etc.
I enjoy reading your blog & keeping up in your adventures. :)
Take care,
Nancy from Montana
Hi Nancy! How've you been? Great to see you again.
DeleteI'll have to pop over and see if you're blogging now! :)
A cool button? Is there such a thing? ha. Or do you mean a label?
DeleteIt's called a reaction:
Delete_____funny. ______interesting. ______cool
Then you check which one you like. :)
That's pretty cute! ♥
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday!
Isn't it? Had to laugh!
DeleteGreat! The return of the red wellies! That's made my Saturday. But wait; that is an old photo, is it not?
ReplyDeleteYes, same header photo I made a few years ago. But the wellies look the same! They haven't aged a bit, the old gals! ha.
DeleteNeither has the young one ~ still as lovely as ever . . . . :)
DeleteYou caught this one at the perfect time! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when that happens? :)
DeleteCute post and photo. I am sure it would tickle.. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks Eileen. Not sure I'd stand so still if that happened to me! haha.
DeleteHow precious...Even the lovely head of your statue makes a good dance floor.
ReplyDeleteGarden Girl does make appearances often here, doesn't she? I can see her through the window when I'm sitting here at my kitchen desk, so it's hard not to notice when something cute is going on out there!
Deletewhat cute picture ! this sparrow in the girl head look lovely!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was so cute! ha!

ReplyDeleteThank you...got lucky with just the right timing!

DeleteDid not know you two spoke in hieroglyphics . . . . or are they Cherokee smoke signals? . . . . lol
DeleteYep...smoke signals!
DeleteSparrow looks to be having fun
ReplyDeleteThat snow will be all gone before it is done
yep, she almost dusted her head all clean!
DeleteThen it would like the beginning of spring!
I love birds and yours is a cutie. Awesome capture!
ReplyDeleteShe is pretty sweet, isn't she? Glad I had my camera handy!
DeleteYour timing and sense of humor are "Picture" perfect.
ReplyDeletewell, thanks! I got lucky being in the right place at the right time! :)
DeleteOh, how sweet! I saw a sparrow perched atop a snow clump yesterday, but my windows are dirty and by the time I got upstairs and opened the window, he flew away.
ReplyDeleteMy windows are dirty, too! I just zoom through the dirt and you can't see it...ha. I usually clean this one window for my photos but I haven't thought about it when it was warm enough. Last year I had windex freeze mid air. Lol
DeleteHaaa! Love that little snow cha-cha-cha and the wee flakes scattering. Two girls having fun!
ReplyDeleteThis might be my favorite winter photo so far! Just makes me smile.
DeleteGreat shot! So cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gunilla! Glad I captured the moment!
