Don't they? ha. I didn't leave him in the dryer too long..I was afraid his eyes would get banged up in there. He tumbled long enough to fluff with the dryer sheet and came out. :)
Hey, did you see Slate in the last post? He was nosing about the gifts.
Awww...he is a cutie ♥ I hope he enjoyed his ride in the dryer too. It's probably kind of like the tilt-a-whirl. T has a bear that he has had since childhood. He has a picture of himself with the bear when was about 4 years old. Old stuffed animals are the best. I have some that I can't give away due to sentimental value. Have you named him yet? He looks like a Hollister or Gatsby. I call our cat named Bear...Bear E. Manilow ; )
Bear E Manilow? Oh, I am laughing out loud! We had a cat Teddy, but his real name was Theodore.
I have that picture of Tom...it's such a cute picture. I had a teddy bear when I was little but don't know what happened to it. In fact, I don't have have any of my childhood toys! I think mind were all passed down and didn't get saved. Sniff.
Your descriptions of Teddy sounds like you're describing me after a warm toss in the bubbles..... a natural swimmer.... all fluffy and soft..... my eyes twinkle....a good listener..... see what I mean? Oh, he's cute too!!
I do love the Teddy in the sudsy bath photo. So good he is the kind of bear with the hair that can be washed without looking like a matted mess when it's all over. He deserves his very own story book. When you publish it I'll take a copy or two for all my grandchildren. :0)
How cute is that! I agree with Martha....he didn't go fuzzy....remember that poem? Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear... Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair... Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy... Wuzzy? Oh dear....that takes me back....must teach Miss V that one ! Cheers! Linda :o)
Hi Betsy - lucky Teddy - bet that's the first time for ages he's been cosseted so .. and now will be much loved in his new home. I want to do something with my mother's 'dog' - Hardwick ... but he's distinctly pongy ... but he's full of sawdust and I don't think Teddy's treatment will go down well! I think he needs a specialist cleaner and some cash - not readily available .. I need to explore, so I know ... I'd like Hardwick (wire-haired fox terrier) to be around ...
So pleased Teddy is happy and ready for New Year ... cheers Hilary
Hi Betsy - I will .. Hardwick is kind of special ... Suza came over and commented that she has some links re cleaning possibilities for Hardwick .. he'd be nicer if he was spruced up! So I expect she'll send them through to me ... and I can help him smell sweet again ... cheers Hilary
Nice that he's all spiffed up. :)
ReplyDeleteHe's a natural born swimmer, too!
DeleteCute- he is handsomer than ever!
ReplyDeleteYes, he is! All fluffy and soft now.
DeleteWhat a cutie! It looks like he's quite happy on your shelf.
ReplyDeleteI think he's happy. He doesn't smile, but his eyes twinkle. lol...
DeleteHis eyes even look brighter. Lynne in NC

DeleteHe is handsome.
ReplyDeleteAnd even 'handsomer' now, right? lol....

DeleteFresh Teddy! His tum does look fuller - aw, he is too cute. And I bet he will be a great pal to share secrets with. :-)
ReplyDeleteHe certainly is good company in the studio. And he's dried up very nicely!

DeleteI think he did very well. He sits still and is very patient.
ReplyDeleteDoes he have a name? Or is it Teddy?
Just Teddy....although I did find a tag on his rump that said he was Tyler. But I think I prefer Teddy. :)
DeleteTeddy bears are the best! If you check out this old post of mine you might say that I have a few :-)
ReplyDeleteAww - another little munchkin in the house but this one won't eat you out of house and home. :)
