I was taking in the golden world this morning too. Josiah and I were up and out of the house by a little before 8 am so that I could get him back to his house by nine. It was a beautiful morning. Gotta love those corn fields. :0)
I stopped to see my bloggy friend Della on my way home. We met once last year at the little diner in town. I did not stop to get ice cream or look at antiques in the Purple Monkey because both of those places were still closed at 9:15 in the morning. Maybe next time. :0)
"Keep your eyes on your driving ~ keep your hands on the wheel ~ and keep your snoopy eyes on the road ahead!" . . . . rofl . . Yes nice colours . . . :)
You mean it's still waving in the wind in Ohio? All our waving wheat was safely gathered in September, well, here in the Midlands. Now the fields are being ploughed and winter crops set.
He finished laying the floor and put the baseboards back up...but they don't have the nail holes filled, etc. The photo would have looked exactly the same, I think Don't want to bore y'all with it! haha.
I had fun at Ikea....walked through the entire place and looked at every stinkin' thing they sell. lol... I got a couple of throws for the couch, pillows, a colander and cutting board made to fit in my sink and a few more drawer dampers that we needed. Fun!
Just getting caught up on your last few posts... the dining room looks really great with the new cabinets and the lithographs!
A belated happy birthday to the Alex, Harry, and Spencer. Fun to see that picture of you in the hospital with the babies and Taylor. 21? Wow, huge milestone. Does it feel like the years flew by?
You know, it doesn't really feel like the years flew by. lol...it feels like we worked hard to survive every one of them! ha! Oh gosh...well, in some ways I can't believe they are 21, but I know you understand what I mean. :)
Wow, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm first!

The sun made a few short appearances this morning and then disappeared. ha. But I like the gloominess of this picture.

ReplyDeleteThey let the corn get really dry here...it will be time to harvest it, soon. It's been so rainy, though, which may delay it a bit.

ReplyDeleteI love the neutrals...almost sepia!

ReplyDeleteNo work on the house today?
Same gloom here again....one more day.....then better!
