I think your cats are so special - for many reasons. But I think, somehow, they realize how lucky they are and that it is a huge gift to have found someone like you to care for them. So they give back to each other with hugs and tail locks and snuggles. Grateful kitties! :-)
They do seem to be an exceptionally sweet bunch, don't they? They run to greet the one that comes in the house...it's just so cute! Amazing for 15 cats to be so affectionate. I'd say it was me, giving them such a loving, safe and happy place to live, but Keith and Eddie would make sure I didn't get away with such a prideful statement. hahaha... (oh, just wait until they wake up tomorrow and read this. lol...)
Not prideful... truthful! It IS because of you. And Keith and Eddie both know that down deep. But they enjoy pulling your leg(s), arm(s) and... um... hair! They are too far away for you to retaliate! ;-)
Hi Suza . . . . . . . . Don't tell Betsy, but we DO think the reason why the cats are so affectionate is because of her giving them a loving, safe and happy home, so much so we are coming over as well but I doubt whether we could get through the cat flap, or Keith certainly couldn't. And yes, we do enjoy pulling her leg . . . .if we pull hard enough they might be long enough for her to be a fashion model . . . lol. Morning Betsy, darling!!! . . . lol
It's so nice seeing the cats exchanging their love. It's a shame that Dinky doesn't feel like that. Ginger Tom doesn't come any more, because he feels that she doesn't want him around. I've seen him sitting in the strawberry patch in these last few evenings, but he wont come if I call him.
I am sorry that we live so far apart, but as Suza says, at we are out of retaliation range. This is why we can be so cheeky! Cowards you say? Just come here and say that to my face and see what happens!
Just thinking of one of your heads stuck inside my house through the cat flap with your body outside, unable to get through has me in hysterics! Talk about revenge! Oh the things i could do.
I could stick a carrot in your mouth and call Nugget to come have dinner!
How about some pate on your nose and call the cats? I wonder if they would eat or hiss!
Your wailing would upset the neighbors so maybe I would just feed you cookies until you promised to be quiet.
This reminds me of Rabbit starving Winnie The Pooh until he could be unstuck from Rabbit's front door! Ha.
And Keith, I could call you coward right to your face as I painted your cheeks with war paint and cut your hair into a Mohawk. I suspect all the while you'd be telling me that my cookies I shoved in your mouth had a bit too much salt for your delicate palette. Haha.
The cats do love to lay on ones back, so I can just see them lined down your body, sticking outside. At least you wouldn't get cold at night that way. A live fur blanket...better than any British water bottle. Lol....
lol . . . . This is turning into a riot . . . . lol I think I'd lose the carrot to nugget I think the cats would get the pate and just meoow with laughter . . . might have my nose as well. I love cookies . . even with my head stuck in the cat flap. Yes a cat blanket would keep me warm . . . .
Not sure where Keith is so I shall let him respond to the war paint and Mohawk - gawd. . . . what a sight! He's frighten the cats away and me . . . . I would be so scared I would shoot straight through the cat flap and seek shelter in nugget's cage . . . So you think I use a hot water bottle . . . . lol
Hi Betsy - good mixture ..aren't they lovely... and I too was thinking of the other three - bet they have togetherness, but of a different sort. Love the photo of T & L on 4th July 2014 ... cheers and happy weekend - Hilary
Funny you say that because I almost took a picture of them last night after they fell asleep...they do snuggle in a bunch at night, just like they did as newborns. We've tried to separate them....it just doesn't work.
I've never seen such a loving bunch, or should I say, "pride" of cats. Think it must be something to do with the lady of the house . . . Do you ever get a quartet hug or a quintet hug . . . right up to quindectet (think that is right for 15) ? . . . :)
I have had all of them around my ankles before....especially when I have their dinner in my hands. haha. Then I can't walk...quite a funny sight...you should hear the meows!
Is there a leader of the pack who gets first pick . . . or have you trained them to live in a democratic society and to say. "after you!" . . . "No after you, I insist!" . . . lol
Too CUTE! I am sending you a triple hug too! xxx ooo
ReplyDeleteWe love triple anything here! ha.
DeleteI'd love to be in the middle of that. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are so sweet...so affectionate.
DeleteAw, I used to have three cats exactly like that. Except they weren't very affectionate with each other. Hissss!
ReplyDeleteWe get a hiss once in a while! haha.
DeleteThe two I have left aren't snugly either. Oreo has a tendency to smack Little Cat whenever she passes too close.
DeleteShe just wants to make sure everyone knows who is in charge. ha.

You are playing with fire man!! That's one fierce heap Cherokee lady you are talking to - fresh out of peace pipes, passing pink clouds. . . . lol
DeleteI'll never tell... but I suspect she already knows! :-) And go easy on that cat flap. It gets a lot of mileage.
DeleteOh, where to start! Haha.

DeleteLook lovely and funny!! They are cute!!:)
ReplyDeleteI always stop and watch them give the head hugs. So funny!
Deletelol all together as one
ReplyDeleteHugging and having fun
Good thing they like each other!
DeleteBetter than having them spit fire!
haha.
love to see all your kitties. They are really sweet. How lucky they are to have found you! Taria
ReplyDeleteI think I'm the lucky one! :)
DeleteThis picture reminds me of three others in your household!
ReplyDeleteWe certainly have lots of threes around here. haha.

ReplyDeletelooks its so freezing we have to huddle together....ha
cute.
Lol...well, we do have the A/C on, but not that high. haha.
Deletehow does one not want to kiss and cuddle these three? MEOW!
ReplyDeleteYeah, they are pretty sweet...lots of cuddling going on here..
DeleteI was thinking could be amazing a pic of all your cats but is difficult I know:)
ReplyDeleteI've gotten 11 or 12 together before while they eat. It's hard to capture them all together!
DeleteHere the bunnies sleep so close like a hug but in the day they fight sometimes (by the food)
ReplyDeletexo
Aw, I bet they look so cute sleeping!
DeleteYes Sometimes in the morning when I feed them are sleeping so close cute!!
DeleteAWWWWWWW.........
ReplyDeleteAren't they sweet? :)
DeleteThey must love being close, cute shot! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThey are all related...but I don't really think that matters. My strays that aren't 'family' are just as snuggly with everyone!
DeleteWhat a great moment to capture!
ReplyDeleteIt's a common occurrence here. ha.
Deletepretty sandwich
ReplyDeletehaha...and how appropriate that Marmalade is in the middle! :)
DeleteI hope that they gave you a hug too! xx
ReplyDeleteSocks and Tiger actually do give me those head nudges. They must think I'm a cat, too. ha.
