Lovely, isn't it?
No wonder when I was a little girl playing Cowboys and Indians,
I wanted to be an Indian girl and have the name Pink Cloud. ha.

ReplyDeleteMy Indian name was Cathawatha. My oldest sister made it up because I had bangs that were cut straight across. She passed away a few years ago but it still makes me smile to think about this name : ) Thanks for bringing back the memory ❤️
And of course we have that Cherokee connection.
Cathawatha...oh, that is SO cute! Aw....sweet memory!

DeleteHow when we were little and we put names lol
I love pink clouds, except they make me hungry for cotton candy...
ReplyDeleteAnd I loved playing cowboys and Indians too, especially if I got to use my brother's double barrel shotgun.
:0)
This one really does look like cotton candy.....which I haven't had in years!
DeleteOh, yes...a shot gun would make the game seem all the more real. I had to stick with imaginary bows and arrows. lol....
Great shot, Pink Cloud.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try cranberry pecan chicken salad. I've had chicken salad with cranberries and walnuts and loved that. Pecans would make it even better!
Deleteyep, it was very tasty.....I think we'll have it again tomorrow! :)
DeleteBeautiful, blushing cloud. So pretty. Did you see the moon last night? Amazing. And when I was viewing it, it had streaks of white cloud in front of it. Wish you had been here to take a photo of it – mine did not turn out at all. Just had my cellphone camera with me. But it’s kind of a cool abstract photo.
ReplyDeleteAccording to this site: http://www.ctc.volant.org/cherokee/Mirror/cherokeewords.html Pink Cloud would be:
usgolv gigagei ulogilv OR gegageiyusdi ulogilv
wow...I can't pronounce that one! haha.
DeleteI got pictures of the moon last night! It's cloudy here tonight, so I'm not expecting to see it, but I'll look just in case.
Beautiful! xx
ReplyDeletePink clouds are so pretty- I think I watch the sky almost as much as I look for birds. God's beautiful watercolors.
