Yes, we played hide and seek as kids. We shut our eyes and counted to 20 but when I was a little boy I was naughty and kept my eyes open . . . . lol :)
Puppies aren't near as good at hide and seek as cats. They run the same circles over and over. Our dog used to check behind both ends of the couch. So silly! And if the cat took a different path than usual, the dog would continue to chase nothing, then stop, suddenly realizing that the cat was missing. Oreo would be sitting in an out of the way spot watching the dog make a fool of himself.
This is so wonderful. We use to have a gray cat that would bury herself behind our bed pillows thinking she was hidden and the back third was sticking out. Cats are wonderful.
Dinky is different. She hides behind the curtains, but just puts her nose and eyes out watching. Then the whole curtain starts shaking as she wriggles that silly wriggle when a cat is just about to pounce, but I beat her to it and I pounce on her first!.
HaHa...That's too cute...Molly does that under the bed...only a tail sticking out...and I always say what you did... I can see you!!! HaHa. I thought that was also cute that the boys shut their eyes not to be seen. I posted the "new no teasing hair today"...I'm getting use to it...and it sure is easy.
Oh, that reminds me of my granddaughter too. No she doesn't have a tail!! But she does 'hide' in full sight - thinking that if she can't see you, you can't see her. LOL.
Oh, that reminds me of my grand-daughter, (not that she has a tail!) But she does hide in full sight, thinking if she can't see you, you can't see her.
no you can't ha ha!!!!!! If I can't see YOU ,,,, you can't see ME!!!!!!
ReplyDeletethat is sweet!!!
My boys do that, actually. They close their eyes when they don't want to be seen. lol...
DeleteThis is a precious shot. Our cats will get behind a floor-length curtain to hid but their tail will still be showing!!!
ReplyDeleteIt really is funny when they do that, isn't it? ha. Sometimes here, another cat will come along and play with the tail like it's a toy.
DeleteLOL . . . playing cat peep-ho! . . . ha
ReplyDeleteIs that like our Peek-a-Boo?
DeleteThe very same! . . . like your's better . .
DeleteDo you play Hide and Seek, too? That is an entirely different game....was a favorite of mine when I was a girl.

DeleteHa! I love when they do this. So funny. All tucked in except the wayward tail. You must see a lot of end bits at your pad!
ReplyDeleteI laugh every time I see this!
DeleteToo funny! Our Oliver hides behind the curtains with his tail hanging out. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's a common occurrence! ha.
DeleteReminds me of little kids who hide their faces and think nobody sees them.
ReplyDeleteThat's Gray? Couldn't tell!
Yep it's Grey! And my boys still do that! haha. Well, not Taylor, of course. :)
DeleteFunny really funny!:).
ReplyDeleteCracks me up!
DeleteReally make me laugh!
DeleteLike toes under the drapes or fingers curled around a door.
ReplyDeleteWhen Oreo was a kitten he used to play hide and seek with our puppy.
Nugget plays it with our cats...he jumps out from behind doorways...it's hilarious!

DeleteOh, that's funny! I guess fetch is more their game. Although, our Jack will play fetch with his fishy. So cute!
Deletelol you mean everything has to be hidden away
ReplyDeleteThat only leaves so many positions to lay
That's exactly what I mean!
DeleteYour tail should not be seen!
Could get caught in a vacuum
as it goes va-room!
Or stepped on as well
DeleteThat could cause hell
They could let out a shriek
DeleteThat could reach high peaks!

ReplyDeleteI think they are, too! So sweet and entertaining. I do enjoy mine a lot!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your hair! I'll be over for a visit!
DeleteThanks Mildred,....lots of fun things to join in!
ReplyDeleteHa...cute! Our Bear is like Keith's Dinky. He hides in the curtains with his fluffy plume tail sticking out : )
ReplyDeleteYour Bear is a beautiful cat!
DeleteBugsy does this too, it always makes me laugh. You could have quite a few tails hanging out I would think!
