    1. I love pears...one of my favorites! And if I'm buying candles or shower gel, I look for a pear scent, too! Lovely!

  2. So sorry to read in your sidebar about the family in your town and what happened to them, I hope that they can rebuild, and am glad that they are all safe themselves. xx

    2. Yes, I read that too and was hoping you and the family made it through safely. Since I hadn't seen you post anything about it, I was assuming "no news was good news."

    3. Yes, no news is usually good news. I guess if I'd blown away clear up to heaven you guys would eventually figure it out when I never posted again. haha. I guess that really will happen some day....hopefully not for another 50 years, though. :)

    4. Don't be so pessimistic Betsy - 60 years at least!!
I was dumbfounded to hear about the tornado and how close it was to you.. I agree with Amy and really feel for that family who lost their home.

    5. Yes, just one mile away! Terrible storms and I was just about to corral the boys in the center bathroom (safest place) when the mister called and said it was very close to me but heading away from our house. So thankful..but scary! We are in the midwest and our area of Ohio has experienced some dreadful tornadoes.

60 years! Oh yes, how silly of me. I shall be around a good long time. haha. I mean, I always say I have to live forever for my boys!
