I worked an late auction today and this was the sky
on my drive home. I just had to stop and get a picture!
I had my new camera with the longer lens with me.
There's no point and shoot with that thing like I used to do
without taking my eyes off the road. haha.
No, I had to pull over and roll my window down so the
lens wouldn't hit the glass. But it was worth it!
Isn't that lovely? I was driving toward the darker clouds.
Looks like more rain is on it's way!
♥
That was the silver fox speaking!
ReplyDeleteOh Betsy - that is so beautiful! Look at the colours. Exquisite. I just love the silhouettes of trees and look how many there are! So glad you captured this moment.
ReplyDeleteOooo... any new promising shop items? :-)
Nothing for the shop this time! The only thing I brought home was one of those teardrop shaped dried gourds to make into a bird house. A whole box of them was left in the trash. I refrained from taking the whole box and just took one. haha.
DeleteOh - clever idea.
DeleteAnd look who's first!
ReplyDeleteDid you see this? So exciting!!! http://daffodilsandearthworms.blogspot.ca/
ReplyDeleteyes, I did see that! Melt my heart. I'm so thrilled!
DeleteBeautiful shot Betsy I love sunsets, look amazing!
ReplyDeleteXO
Isn't it pretty? It nicer to see out in the country like that with the farm land so flat. There's a bigger expanse of sky. In my neighborhood the trees and houses get in the way!
DeleteToday we had a beautiful sunrise but I was making breskfast lol
DeleteI never see the sunrise here! The eastern sky is totally blocked from my house! So sad!
DeleteGood thing you identified yourself!
ReplyDeleteSo......was HE the one who commented on your legs?
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you all thought that was me....
Really?
I thought it might be Silver too last night... I didn't really see that the comments were an insult but I guess I was missing something!
ReplyDeleteit is lovely,like a painting,
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? The sky is God's canvas...his finger his paintbrush. :)
DeleteSuch a gorgeous sky Betsy..and if I m not mistaken, it that a meteor?
ReplyDeleteNo, it's a jet and it's contrail. :)
DeleteLovely! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? We can never enjoy too many sunsets!
DeleteQuite the site
ReplyDeleteAnd saved other drivers a fright
As you have to stop and click
No pointing real slick
A jet too
No sky writing for you?
It's kind of a pain to have to stop driving
Deletejust to do some photographing!
I prefer to fly along
and click as I sing a song!
Multitasking at it's best, too
as I make my way back to the zoo!
Today is a new day and a new post, so I'd rather just leave it at that.
ReplyDeletesmiles. well worth the stop
ReplyDeleteto catch that bit of beauty
we have rain on the way
as well...
April showers! ha.
DeleteGorgeous! Very peaceful and calm.
ReplyDeleteI love the sun trying to peek out from behind the cloud. I wonder if it every got there after I left. :)
DeleteBeautiful! Your camera is taking great pictures, and I'm sure the photographer has a little something to do with it, too.
ReplyDeleteOh, Yuji! I'm SO far behind on my photography classes! Tomorrow I hope to put a dent into that. I am encouraged, though, that I have some actually worth showing anyone. The first pictures weren't even in focus! hahaha....
DeleteBeautiful, Betsy - like you!
ReplyDeleteWell, aren't you sweet. :)
DeleteYes! lol
DeleteFor lack of a better word, beautiful! I love sky watching because amazing things go on up there! :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if sunsets are like snowflakes...no two are alike?
DeleteI just love the sky at night!
ReplyDeleteme, too...so beautiful!
