All good fun! I saw a television programme a while back about the Blue Angels - terrific skills as are our Red Arrows. A bit still from gardening today. We took out a lot of the hedge but the shredder got jammed and we got caught in a deluge and got drenched!! . . . . but we took it on the chin and nibbled our Chocolate easter Bunnies!!
Oh and son in law cooked us all a wonderful meal! He is a great cook, as is his two brothers - one is Head Chef at London Zoo Restaurant. Didn't their mother do a great job teaching them?
Oh, that's nice! I wish The Mister could cook. ha. He tries, though...when I let him. haha. Sounds like you had a lovely day and ate well, too! How very nice!
I love your photos. If life was just a little bit different, I think I'd like to learn all that camera stuff too. Maybe one day it will settle down again, huh?
It is so much harder than I thought! Honestly, I feel lost and I'm a few weeks behind in the classes. Yes, life will settle down eventually and then you can putter with your camera all you want! :)
Not only are your little finches adorable...I see signs of "Spring"....beautiful colors. Hope you've had a good day....We are still in the process of a good day.
We're really greening up around here! Another couple of weeks and those trees will be swallowed up in blossoms. I can't wait! We did have a lovely relaxing day! Did you get your brunch at the country club?
Did you practise this for your workshop? Your teacher must be very proud of you! Very good shots of the Finch Brothers! Keep them for your bird-calendar...
Love these action shots - you capture the detail beautifully and it must be difficult when they are fluttering so fast. I love the second one - almost looks like a peacock unfurling his feathers!
beautiful action shots!!!!! Happy Easter Sunday!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy Easter! :)
DeleteThat is one busy feeder!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.....enjoy your day...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
It sure is! I hung one with thistle seed in the next tree and nobody has found it yet!
DeleteI also noticed that....it took the finches a few days to find it!
DeleteI guess they smell them!
These are gorgeous. Deb
ReplyDeleteHi Deb! Thanks! I feel like the pictures are getting better slowly but surely!
DeleteMust be a very fast shutter speed, Betsy to almost freeze wings like that.
ReplyDeleteGreat action shots from those speedy red arrows!
Have you heard of our red arrows?
Display formation planes!
The finches are remarkable little birds.
Super fast shutter speed! Lots of deleted tries, but when you capture one, it's really fun!
DeleteYour Red Arrows must be like our Blue Angels!
Yep! I know them!
DeleteVery similar except your's are blue and our's are red . . . . . ROF
Oh and your planes might be a bit bigger and better! lol
Seriously I love watching formation aerobatics
ROF? hahaha....you are silently rolling on the floor now? ha.

We live fairly close to a major air force base and they have an annual air show that is quite spectacular! Always fun to see.
DeleteYou had rain? OH dear. Yes, you deserved chocolate bunnies after that!

That one looks like it may not survive
As it takes a nose dive
He's dive bombing the feeder!
