when I posted these photos the other day.
So here you go! I think it's about time I make it again myself!
Very quick, easy, and only one rising in the bread pans!
White Bread
In your mixer bowl with paddle attachment or dough hook,
mix the following ~
2 1/2 c hot tap water
1/3 c vegetable oil
1/3 c honey
2 Tablespoons rapid rise yeast
1 egg, room temperature
Separately, whisk 1 Tablespoon of salt and
6 1/2 cups of all purpose flour.
Add flour mixture to the mixer and mix until dough
leaves the sides of the bowl. Then let the mixer
knead the dough for 10 minutes.
Dough will be very wet and almost soupy.
Place on oiled counter and with oiled hands,
divide in half and shape into two loaves.
Place in two greased bread pans.
Cover with a towel and let rise in a warm
place. I do this in my oven but do not turn on
any heat. Only turn on the inside light, which
warms it nicely. Let rise 35 minutes, until the dough
has riser about 1 1/2" above the sides of the pans.
Remove from oven, heat oven to 350 and bake 35-45
minutes until the tops are nicely browned.
Remove from pans onto a cooling rack.
Butter the tops, and cool before slicing.
Well, almost cool. You have to sample a piece
warm with butter, right? ha.
