Yes, I did...busy and fun! The golden leaves are surrounding us! Storms blew a lot of leaves down, but the sun on the ones left make for an amazing glow!
We had some lovely fireworks tonight as it is bonfire night here on Tuesday - google it! - so that was a pretty golden moment for the weekend to end on! Love your leaves Betsy. Hope that you have a golden week ahead. xx
What a golden weekend for you. Just stunning, that gold through the window. I would not get anything done. I would just want to stand there and sing praises at the beauty of God's canvas. There is a video that my blog friend Dave put on his post that is hilarious. I know you would love it. I also put it on FB. If you scroll down my sidebar Dave is "Everyone Likes Pictures" Your cat picture made me think of it. Will be leaving Tues for a week with Tristan. Can't wait.
Look at you drinking coffee just like me! ha. Cute picture of you! Oh, you are going to have a wonderful trip! So happy for you! I'll come over and find Dave and check out that post...thanks for the heads up!
See what an inspiration you are. That picture was taken last year at Jill's with the coffee cup. I liked it too. Hope you don't mind me being a "copy cat"...HaHa.
I had a very nice weekend, though I'm not quite ready for it to end. I was just remarking to Hannah on our way home from church how we're going from gold to bronze.
I did indeed! Hope you did too. Love the photos. That shade of blue is lovely in the first couple. And I have always admired your window - looks like a church window. And, of course, a big soft spot for Shadow who looks lovely amongst the red and gold. Love red and gold together. Enjoy your upcoming week, Betsy!
What beautiful golden shots...especially the shot through the window. Yes, great weekend here, though I am having trouble getting used to the time change.
The leaves are so pretty floating in the water with the backdrop of blue. The window view is absolutely lovely. Sunny or raining it would be dreamy. Mustard, Red and Green. My favorite colors to decorate with. And do. :) btw...I wear only Black, Blue and Gray & some White. I must have been mostly beaten in my last life. ;)
No. Not a good weekend. I was sick on Saturday and didn't feel good on sunday. This was a working weekend for hubby trying to get things sorted before surgery. No seeing of the sweet grandson. :( Anyway. Other than that all is good.
On the big household project, is it one of the ones you talked about wanting to do not long ago. Are you shopping?
I'm turning Taylor's old bedroom into a studio for myself. And, of course, it's causing a bit of a chain reaction in all the other rooms of the house! ha. Will be great when it's all done but the house is a little bit chaotic this week! lol....
Congrats on the studio! I sure hope you plan on showing pic's. You know how it goes, You change one thing and the domino's start falling. I always hate the mess it makes and the stuff you trip over when you end up giving yourself a one foot space to work in. But the end results...Priceless.
that is so true! The mess has to get worse before it can get better! haha.... we're in the middle of the mess! I ended up changing the second pantry and a lot of the contents of my kitchen desk went in the studio. Good grief! haha.
Brilliant photography as usual, milady! I don't recall seeing anything that golden over here during this past weekend! Admiring you from afar, Vincent.
Absolutely...♥
ReplyDeleteHope you did as well....
Beautiful yellow shots....
Cheers!
Linda :o)

ReplyDeleteThat blue is the reflection of the sky! But maybe you already knew that. ha.
DeleteAwwww had a rather wet and windy weekend but otherwise quite autumnal!! Take care
ReplyDeletex
wet is pretty much normal for you, though, right? ha.
DeleteBeautiful. Sadly our colourful autumn has been stopped in its tracks by very high winds and LOTS of rain.
ReplyDeletewe have had a lot of rain and wind, too!
DeleteWhat beautiful golden shots...especially the shot through the window. Yes, great weekend here, though I am having trouble getting used to the time change.
ReplyDeleteWe've had a little trouble, too! Although, I did actually get an extra hour of sleep Saturday night, which I normally don't take advantage of!
DeleteThe cat picture is very striking.
ReplyDeleteI like it!
Shadow against orange leaves....looks very Halloweenish, doesn't it? :)

Beautiful photos, I think our weekend was more grey and brown but lots of leaves fell for sure!
ReplyDeletewell, I hope your Monday was golden, then! :)
DeleteBrilliant photography as usual, milady! I don't recall seeing anything that golden over here during this past weekend!
ReplyDeleteAdmiring you from afar, Vincent.
Just like jolly ol' England, right? Grey and raining? :) But that's why your countryside is lush and green, too!
DeleteHello Brown Eyes! Is it another Golden day there in your country?
DeleteActually, it is! Gorgeous sunshine, blue sky and puffy clouds!
DeleteGorgeous Sunshine? I do believe that would be a fitting name for you!
DeleteThank you for brightening my day. It is much appreciated.
No! I didn't realise that at all. I thought it was a bowl or fountain or something that was painted blue inside.
ReplyDeleteNow that you say that, I can see why you thought that!
