Pink and silver is a brilliant combination! And your gift baskets look smashing, Sunshine. I can tell you enjoy your little business and what a cute little elf you make! Santa made a good choice when he picked you!
Sure been working away There at your bay Gift baskets galore Not sure who said they had to be red and green at ones shore Colors can vary indeed Nicely done at your feed
Beautiful Basket Bounty! I have never really been keen on the red/green of Christmas so I usually dilute one of the colours right out of the picture. I like white and gold, or as you, silver and blue. A bit softer on the eyes. Question.Top photo, right side of the basket, what is the green/white/pink striped thingy? Is it a lollipop? An oven mitt? A loofah? Can't quite figure it out!
It's an oven mit and it has a gingerbread cookie mix up inside it...and a little whisk attached. So cute! :)
I'm shopping for a christmas tree online tonight. I'm in the mood for a snowy flocked one. Am I crazy? haha. I love them but wonder if I'd tire of it or be disappointed. Hmmm......more shopping is needed I think! :)
Oh, that's a cute idea with the cookie mix and whisk. Personally, I think I might grow tired of a flocked tree, although they can be very pretty for a change of pace. My tendency might be to buy a smaller, flocked tree for decoration and go with the solid green one as the main one.
But, that said, I have been looking for a white one for years. A friend has one and I love it because the decorations show up so beautifully when it is lit. And it is not a soft leafy one but rather hard plastic branches. Does not sound very appetising the way I am describing it, but I love it and have never been able to find one like it. They have had it since the 1940s I think.
To each his own! But, you may also want to keep in mind that flocked trees, and artificial snow in general, can be quite toxic for pets. Just a thought.
Supposedly Cyber Monday is the day to shop online so maybe something will grab you, or me, by then! Good luck!
good points about the flocked tree. I love their vintage look and tend to gravitate toward something not as common as what everyone else has. They are a little pricey, though. Maybe one slightly smaller that could stand in an urn I saw some photos on pinterest last night that were like that. Branches wouldn't be near the floor that way, either for nugget to chew.
Hi Betsy .. love the gift baskets - they are just beautiful and so prettily put together. I rather like the look of the insides now too. Love the snow, hate the black Friday, believe your days of pie and more pie .. sound very good, and then the little elf who pops into her studio to make silvery snowy jewellery - fabulous ... I guess the men fulfil the rest of your day! Happy Thanksgiving and year ahead .. Hilary
I LOVE the pink!...one of my favorite colors! And the goodies in the baskets look so yummy. The hatboxes are such a creative idea. The one with the pink flowers looks like a set of nesting boxes that I have. Enjoy the concert and your night out!
Aha, first, how did you know that I was thinking about you Betsy!! Scary huh. xx
