  6. Brach's Brocks
Dah! I was walking through Target this evening with Hannah and we came upon the Candy Corns. I said Brach's out loud and it hit me. (I am blond and I am slow, but I've got it now.)

    1. hahaha....or should that be Brock's Brachs? :)

My new obsession is peanuts with candy corn. Tastes just like Payday candy bar. :)

    2. They do that in Minnesota. I haven't quite decided that I like them that way, but I do like Paydays.
And if they belong to you, then they are definitely Brock's Brachs.

    3. I'm glad Taylor has been over a few times to help clean out the candy dish...otherwise I'd nibble it all away myself. I put a handful in my sweater pocket this morning to eat during the auction. lol... I think I better stop for today. I've probably had the equivalent of two paydays.

  10. I knew I could count on you! I too went out to get a moon shot. I have a blurry white banana in the sky. I looked up "moon photography" on the internet..."pick a dark location" was the first helpful hint. I need a little more help than that! Ha!

    1. I took 6 shots and 4 were blurry bananas. I seriously think you have to hold your breath and get lucky that you squeezed the shutter in between heartbeats. When I edit, I boost the focus and the darkness. I'd still like to get the full circle shadow to show through....working on that....

    1. whoa...you have a BIG blank space. Was that you talking to the moon? :)

I talk to just about anything even when I'm not lonely. But I'm just crazy like that. ha. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time I felt lonely. hahaha.

  12. Wow, you get such great moon shots. Maybe you're nearer to it than I? Yes, I was in a beautiful part of your beautiful country and had an amazing holiday. If I'd been nearer to Ohio I might have called.. I brought something back on your recommendation - vanillla coffee creamer! It's delicious. Meant to get Mod Podge too but forgot!! Saw so many pumpkins and so many gorgeous fall trees.

  13. Your photo of the crescent moon is great! I tried to take one, but it just didn't turn out. The Carl Sandburg quote reminds me of my favorite moon quote from Charlie Brown..."you can talk to the moon, but the sun won't listen". I have it in my profile on my blog : )

True. Talking to the sun isn't the same. Can't look him in the eye. :)
