Remember when your kids were little and you'd had
a particularly trying day with them? You peeked in at
them sleeping ...and marveled at how they
had been a little devil all day and now they looked like
an angel while they slept? hahahaha....
Kittens can be that way, too!
♥
sure I remember!
ReplyDeleteLooks pissed off indeed
ReplyDeleteNow all nice and snug at your feed
anonymous took your place.
Deletewhat a disgrace! ha.
Bet Orlin does the same
with the good/bad game.
When he sees another cat
DeleteHe will even whack Pat
Just for brushing it in front of him
Today he also saw something that made him rather grim lol
God I love cats.
DeleteAren't they wonderful? Can't remember life without them.
DeleteKittens are definitely that way! And yes, I do recall wondering at the transition in my own children.
ReplyDeletelol....I remember a few times watching my boys sleep and thinking....are those the same boys that were here today? :)
Delete:) Pretty funny!
ReplyDeleteshe cracks me up....chases her tail like a dog...never a dull moment.
DeleteI love this last picture really cute! And yes I remember! Sigh!
ReplyDeleteeven with the kids still sometimes, right? haha.
Deletesorry my other comment is in the end Betsy!
Deletehaha of course they can be...smiles...
ReplyDeletewow on that first one...what was he fired up about?
I think they were playing tag and chasing each other up in the tree. She must have been on the offensive. lol....She doesn't take much flack from her brothers!
DeleteKids and kittens and puppy dogs all the same
ReplyDeleteAnd men?....well they never grow up.lol
But we all remember the tender angelic moments.
Those are the best things to look at and remember.
Need good strong women to hold it all together though. lol
My grand mother said her Mom was a tiny woman and her Dad
was a huge man and she'd chase him around with her broom and he would laugh.
Those were fond memories she had until he got a fever one day and it burned him and he died 24 hours later. Every one was shocked such a big man was felled by fever.
aw...what a story! Love the chasing with a broom part....what a hoot!
DeleteThat must have been some fever, though...wow.
I love how puppies and kittens play hard and then collapse in a heap, dead asleep right away. Always makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteyeah...so cute! My kitties fall asleep all over the floor...cracks me up to have to step around them...they don't even notice.
DeleteDear Betsy, I think every mother has experienced these feelings you describe. And yes, the sleeping kitten is incredibly sweet! In fact, two very good shots!
ReplyDeleteToday I can see the first yellow leaves before the window of my study. And it has been raining for quite a few days now. And it is rather cool outside. I think I might put all light dresses away today. Did autumn already arrive in Ohio?
Have a nice day anyway!
Christel
Just a very few leaves have started to turn here but the air is noticeably cooler and a little warmer in the afternoon. October is our best month for beautiful color...can't wait!
DeleteOh your blog's changed a little!! LOL!! And your babies are totally marvellous!!
ReplyDeleteKittens are angels through and through! Ahem!! LOL! take care
x
my blog did the flip flop! haha. Not sure I like it, though. lol....
DeleteSOOO cute! I think a blog change up now and again is good...just takes some time to adjust huh? I feel the same way much of the time. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteAn entire overhaul would probably be easier to adjust to than a complete mirror image. I think I like it but I do feel myself wanting to go right instead of left. lol....
DeleteDitto for puppies!! Your sleeping kitten is just about the cutest thing ever!
ReplyDeletehaha...well, Lady said ditto for men. lol.....spouses, kids, pets. I think we've got it all covered. :)
DeleteLOL! Perfect!! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteshe's the epitome of both! lol....

Deleteha yes! he sleep like a baby Betsy!!xo
ReplyDeleteI love it when they sleep with their legs like that. ha.
DeleteWhat in the world was the cat in the first pic. making that fact at? eek. The second pic. is precious.
ReplyDeleteMy m-i-l is terrifies of cats. I've actually seen her pass out if one gets to close. I'm allergic so we have no cats around us.
btw...Let us know how the big kids taste since you're having them for dinner. ;) hahaha.
You know I just had to do it. :)
HA~ omg...I am laughing SO hard. They're going to be scrumptious, I'm sure! lol...
